These two are actually entertaining, but sooooo crazy.
Please, make sure your grand-parents, or elderly parents have not fallen prey to religious con-men. Seniors have actually signed over the title to their homes after speaking with Phone Representatives who are telling the elderly they will have greater rewards in heaven and be closer to God if they donate their property / homes. That SUCKS. Beware, this is not a game.
This is for everyone that don't believe in the bible. Real simple don't watch any videos that will upset you that's what i do, real soon everybody will know the truth. God bless us all.
Religion is all about power, control and tax exemption. Religious leaders have a very comfortable life and generate huge wealth promising things that they cannot in reality deliver. The “religious dizziness” that plagues some people has an irrational dark side that results is horrific occurrences like Sept. 11th, July 7th, Waco, Jim Jones, etc. It’s amazing how some people get hooked!
In newspaper with front page Obama victory, Illinois Lottery's draw was 666 on Page 2, Bible's Mark of the Beast, announcing Antichrist.
Also, people have remarked to me that Obama has numerous, severe head-scars. Bible states "Antichrist suffers mortal head-wound". Calculating the Antichrist's 42 months rule, starting from Obama's 11/4/2008 election, 42 months is May 2011.
Thank you Jack! I needed to hear this strength of support from you!Too many things are written in the press and it confuses many!I needed to hear your comments that support MY belief and the belief of many others! These reports discredit Jesus etc!God Bless you for your STRENGTH in battling these many lies that come from the EVIL one!AGAIN,GOD BLESS YOU!!!
But it doesn't matter what I say or prove your heart is hardened and until you choose to put faith in God you can't learn the things of God. Plain and simple. But if you put your own interpretations on the bible to try and lead people astray you WILL be punished for it by the creator. You've been warned.
@Rigotto90 There was an Israel to restore by the time Jesus was born. It had been conquered. Being occupied by the Romans is essentially the same as being destroyed, thus, Jesus was saying the kingdom would be re-established independent. He never said how long it would take.
Israel had this prophecy - Jews were well aware of it. Then, through the political movement, Zionism, they made it happen during the 19th century, until Israel was re-created. It's self-fulfilling.
@Zomnificent Where did I say that they would be destroyed? You're fabricating an argument and countering what you've fabricated. I said that they would be exiled. Look up the definition of exile. Read the bible, or at least the verses I gave you.
@Rigotto90 If the people of a nation are exiled, the nation has been destroyed//dismantled. That's what I meant. In fact, I never treated it as if you said the Jews themselves would be destroyed, but that the nation would - so you're the one making a straw man.
I don't think you understand how I view this or how the people who wrote the Bible viewed it. They made all these prophecies and said that they would happen within their lifetimes.
Jesus was talking about the Kingdom of God as imminent - that people should sell all their stuff and stop worrying about tomorrow, because the world was going to end within their lifetimes.
It's only because this didn't happen that Christians reinterpreted it, and continue to reinterpret it today, as referring always to some near date in the future. You've been doing it for hundreds of years - each Christian generation believes it's the last. They are always wrong.
You think Jesus was referring to you when he said that ALL these things would come to pass before THIS GENERATION died. Every generation is apparently the generation he was referring to, because they have all thought so.
I explained why I don't find those verses convincing. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy.
@Zomnificent Being exiled and destroyed are TWO DIFFERENT THINGS. If it says destroyed in scripture, and they are exiled...that would count as destroyed...but not the other way around. If it says exiled, and they're not exiled, then it doesn't matter what else happened. BUT THEY WERE EXILED. You didn't read anything once again you're assuming and proposing what the bible says without knowing it. So, because you choose what you choose and I've said quite enough already, I'm done with this.
@Rigotto90 Wait a minute, destroyed and exiled are only two different things when it suits your purpose? You just said you have a double standard. How dishonest.
Being exiled is the same as having THE NATION destroyed - not the people.
20Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
Matthew 22-23
22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Pray for him. He is not interpreting by the Holy Spirit. He has been wrong over the years. God's prophets are not wrong.
cant a writer write a work of fiction without a religious zealot losing his mind about how ficitious it is. its a work of fiction end of story just like the bible...
You gotta love this opportunist sicko - doing the "Obama is the Antichrist "crap - can't get a real job so suckers the stupid jesus freaks and Bible Thumpers - so when these nut jobs believe this moron and follow thru and try to 'save the world' form said antichrist (but bet this A-hole is racking plenty....
What year is this? answer = 2012 AD, what date is this based on Jesus- not your opinion. People have been putting down the Bible back in the middle ages and they are dead and this date (based on Jesus) and the Bible still stands.
Excuse me but Dan Brown's book is a book of fiction. If you don't like it that Dan Brown's book is more popular than your show and that it's leading your blind congregation in a different direction, I'd say your jealous. Christians haven't been following christ since the time of Muhammed. They're offended over the truth of reason.
Maybe someone should've told all those who lined up to "debunk" Dan Brown's book that "The DaVinci Code" was a WORK OF FICTION, and only meant to be as such. It was a really good book (the movie was a bit lacking, BTW) and meant to be nothing more. Dan Brown wasn't trying to trash Christianity (Although he IS, at least, agnostic), and those who actually READ the book, would have known this.
No way man, she's hot, I'd totally throw it in there. I bet she's a fucking animal in the sack. Most of these religious chicks are. I still can't beleive how many Catholic school girls and nuns I've banged. Haha, God bless them.
Of course none of that is in the Bible.... because the bible was written by man for man, because it's all a big coverup. He was a man just like any other man... had a wife and had children, like any other man at that time.
the Bible was inspired by the Holy Spirit talking to the prophets Moses, Elijah, Jacob, and Paul and the twelve disciples. it is Spirit filled and real. God loves u and sent his letter to u so u could understand and not be decieved. I hope that this enlightens u. Amen.
Jesus told his disciples that he would return before anyone in the room was dead. Since they're all dead, that's proof that he either already came back or was a fake.
Jesus did not say that he would return before the apostles were all dead. The Bible clearly states that the Antichrist will stand in Jerusalem, perform lying signs and false wonders and miracles, and those who are decieved into believing that he is Jesus, they will bear the mark of the beast in their minds. the seventh trumpet will blow, and our bodies will become spiritual bodies, and we will meet Jesus up in the clouds when he tears open the eastern sky as the lion of the tribe of judah. Amen.
@carlrondeau Jesus does say that "all of these things will come to pass" before his audience dies. It's in Revelation.
Revelation 1:1 "The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must SHORTLY come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:"
@Zomnificent Revelation 3:11: "Behold, I come QUICKLY: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown."
Matthew 16:28: "Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom." (Also repeated in Luke 9:27)
Matthew 23:36: "Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation."
Matthew 24:34: "Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled."
@Zomnificent Mark 9:1: "Verily I say unto you, That there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power."
Mark 13:30: "Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done."
Luke 21:32: "Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled."
That's enough. Jesus says that everything he is prophesying will happen while some of his apostles as still alive.
@Zomnificent "this generation" meaning the generation in reference- But Jesus does not specify what time period this is in. Also, about Matthew 16:28- THEY DID see him coming into his kingdom as a spirit after he rose from the dead. Congratulations smart guy, you have the ability to take things out of context. Do you really want to burn in hell for going out of your way to try to make people denounce God?
@Rigotto90 Jesus was talking to people that were right in front of him. That's clearly who he was referring to. You're like Bill Clinton asking what the word "is" meant.
As to your second point, it's vague what it means to "see the Son of Man coming into his kingdom."
I'm not going to burn in hell. There is no such place. I will continue to try and convince people there is no God.
It's really quite arrogant of you to think that Jesus was referring to you when he said "this generation." It makes no sense. What you're actually doing is contorting the meaning of the text - because it has already been PROVEN FALSE.
Just out of curiousity, how do you explain Mark 9:1, where Jesus says explicitly that "some that stand here" will not taste of death until they have "seen the Kingdom of God come with power"?
@Zomnificent READ THE WHOLE CHAPTER. He's clearly talking about the generation in the end times (after the re-establishment of Israel) That's right, it's in the bible that the time of the end won't come until after Israel is exiled from their homeland then brought back never to be exiled again. *WHICH HAPPENED IN 1948* (Amos 9:14-15) Read what you're arguing against before you attack it. Because you look ignorant now. Secondly- vague indeed to those who read with mind and not with the spirit.
@Zomnificent Ok, because the END OF THE AGE is when Jesus Christ comes down for the millennial reign after judging the world governments and ending the battle of armaggeddon.... There wouldn't be an Israel to restore if he came back before they returned. In other words, how, if he came back 20 years later let's say, could he do something that'd be impossible in the future during his reign? During his physical reign as king on Earth he will be established in Israel with the resurrected.
@Zomnificent When Jesus was born Israel was occupied by the Romans. They weren't yet exiled to scatter throughout the world. Also, Jeremiah in chapter 30:3, Deuteronomy 4:27-31, Isaiah 11:11, Ezekiel 36:24-35...All prophetic of Israel returning to the land after being scattered among the nations. A process which took 1900 years, no other nation has done this past 150 years let alone had they been prophesied to do so fitting any sort of time frame. Further bible study reveals the time frame.
Beware of the many false prophets who teach regularly on TBN. These wolves in sheeps clothing teach of a Third Movement classified as the Third Wave of Signs and Wonders that is comprised of Word Faith Doctrines that make God subservient to man due to the belief that God must operate under certain spiritual laws dictated by men. Please stay away from these heretical teaching, may the Lord rebuke these false prophets that practice these detestable doctrines!
Another verse regarding the comprehensive peace plan and the forcing of Israel to part the land. Zechariah 12:3 "And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it."
In that verse, it's Zechariah saying he will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone, but Zechariah is dead.
Also, it's the people who burden themselves with it, the Jewish people, who will be cut in pieces. He's talking about the Jewish diaspora that already happened.
Zomnificent - No. You are very incorrect. It's talking about the last days. It's a prophectic verse. Did you know the Islam mahdi, which is not Christian, is to sign a 7 year peace agreement with the Jews in the last days. Now, that is that's in their doctrine; not in the Holy Bible. The Christian's antichrist will sign a 7 yr peace agreement with Israel. Do you know the story of Ishmael and Issac. The Arabs are Ismael's decendants and the Jews are Issac's.
No, it isn't talking about the last days. The people who wrote it were Jewish. They were not Christian. It has been re-interpreted by Christians to support their arguments. Muslims do the same thing with Christianity.
I don't give a rat's ass about the rest of what you wrote there.
Here's a verse you may want to read as Obama and the world ponders forcing Israel to part the land for a palestianian state:
Joel 3:2 I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.
Exactly what Bible did you read that did not include the ressurection. Give me the name of it. There's been plenty of lies written, such as this Da vinci Code.
If you've heard of the mark of the beast in the last days, then you might want to look up these videos on youtube called, " Cashless Society with Implanted Microchip by 2017" and " RFID Killer chips" Without the mark, noone will be able to buy or sell. Whomever takes this mark is selling his soul to satan. Look up new world order on youtube and see how many politicians you can find talking about it and then tell me that a one world government is not coming.
Blah blah blah. I've looked at all of that Alex Jones bullshit. It's a lot of crazy, paranoid people making videos about connections that don't exist. Religious nuts like yourself interpret every event in light of their holy book.
Zomnificent - Well, isn't that interesting? I would say the majority of the people that listen to Alex Jones are not Christian. They still understand that there's a one world government coming and a cashless society in the making. But they just don't understand how it ties into the Bible.
No. If you go on there and read the comments left, you will clearly see they are not of the Christian belief. In fact, many of them are against Israel. China, Russia and others are calling for a one world currency. In fact, a couple days ago the russian president reveiled a new world coin that reads "unity of diversity." It's on youtube, check it out. It's on my Channel.
God's Word never returns void. Isaiah 55:11 "So shall my word be that goes forth out of my mouth: it shall not return to me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." You can choose to believe or not to believe, but God's Will will be done.
Matthew 3:2 ""Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."
Israel became a nation again in 1948. 1967 took back Jerusalem. As you might know, the Bible was written long before this. If you'll read Joel 3:2 and Zechariah 12:3, you will see what God will do to those who come against Jerusalem/Israel and His people in the last days. You say there is no God, but I don't believe anyone believes that. Bible prophecy is being fulfilled right before our eyes and quickly. Jesus is about to return. Get ready.
Again, whatever is written in the Bible doesn't matter. There's no god. The book is not divine. It doesn't predict anything.
The Jews fought to return to Israel after Rome kicked them out because they had their own prophecies they wanted to fulfill. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy.
I believe there is no god. I promise you that.
Jesus is not coming back. He died and her never rose. Early version of the Bible don't even include the resurrection, did you know that? Your religion is false.
Some of the mockers on here are probably some of those who are against the coming one world government. If you are, you need to get your heart right with God. You need to get on the right side. Jesus will come back and crush that one world government to pieces. He will then set up His perfect and peaceful Kingdom in Israel. The Bible foretells of what is occurring today in our headlines. The New World Order is upon us. Get on the right side of God or you will feel His wrath.
You're crazy. There is no impending one world government or apocalypse. Even if there was a one world government, it would probably be a good thing. No more pointless wars, and better sharing of food with the starving people.
Zomnificent- You haven't been watching much of the headline news lately, have you? The Pope is calling for a new world order. Al Gore is talking about Global governance. Henry Kissinger said on a video here on Youtube that "Obama is primed to create the new world order." The Bible talks of an antichrist that will sigh a 7 yr peace treaty with Israel in the last days. There was no Israel again for 2534 years. We are seeing the seeking of a peace agreement by Obama and the world. Get ready.
Give me a break. The Bible doesn't predict those things. Obama is not the antichrist.
People have been trying to use the book of revelation to predict that the apocalypse is here for thousands of years. They've been wrong 100% of the time, and they will continue to be wrong, because the Bible has no prophetic power. It's just a book, and there is no God. Remember this moment, when you predicted the apocalypse was here, in thirty years when the world is still around and everything is fine.
Revelation 1:7 "Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen."
Romans 14:11 "For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God."
2 Peter 3:3 "Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,"
What part of FICTIONAL STORY did this crack addict miss? You can't believe Jesus had a wife, but a talking snake that instructs women to eat apples is totally legit?
F-this, Dan Brown is a genius and an amazing author.
Revelation is not about the end or future events. Revelation is all about the spiritual accomplishments and achievements of Jesus. Watch my videos the Whore of Babylon and The New Jerusalem. Stop the fear! God bless!
Interesting that this guy is mad at what he calls a "fable' when the Bible is essentially composed of fables. Belief in the devil, for instance, can be traced in its development through various influential religions and myths (the same way Santa Claus has come down to us) and people believe these silly myths without question. The Christ story itself is informed by Egyptian and Greek myths of god offspring who work miracles, suffer and die and resurrect.
Get away from the teaching of the catholic church...they teach totally against the word of God!...Teaching that you should call a leader of the body of christ Father when Jesus said only to call God your Father...they believe in a Queen of heaven just like the occult...Not allowing men to marry when the Bible says that is a doctrine of Demons...There is no pope or nuns or cardinal in the bible ,This is total deception.THey are a religion for another Jesus other than the one in the Bible!
was he there.does he know? This man angers me. I believe in mostof the bible, but i understand that there is just as muck "myth" or unprooved problems in the bible, then any other book.
there are hundreds of fake doctrines and Gospels out there and people would rather believe them than the truth, they are from there father Satan, who deceives the whole world...praise the Lord of Lords - the King of Kings - the Warrior of God - the Prince of peace that is Yeshua the Messiah - thy Kingdom come, AMEN...
you can determine it by what Lord Jesus said, and by the old testament- which predicted Jesus was the son of God, the messiah of the jews and the savior of all mankind, the bible defines itself perfectly, only thing left now is the second coming - get ready
this is a 2000 year old question, look what happened in Jesus day - they rejected him and they still do, because they are following there traditions, not God - the prophets clearly state that Jesus is the Messiah, I think it was Jeremiah who called him Jesse, and Isaiah who called him Emmanuel -(God - with - us) -
also Jesus filled many of there predictions, such as him riding into Jerusalem on a colt, and many on his life and death...
many Jews will reject Lord Jesus until his second coming
Okay, first of all, the name "Emmanuel" is not the same as Jesus. It isn't even close, it doesn't even mean son of God. You are really stretching it with that so-called prophecy.
Secondly, all that other stuff that Jesus supposedly "fulfilled", is just interpretation.
You say no human denomination is correct about God, that means yours is wrong, too, doesn't it? Why would you say that if you think your denomination is correct?
To say "they are following their traditions, not God" assumes from the start that their traditions are wrong. But maybe they are right. Maybe Jesus was just a crazy heretic who believed he was the son of God. Jews mostly view your traditions just about the same as you view the Muslim (and probably Mormon) traditions, as a made-up bunch of nonsense that was not dictated by God. And Muslims view Christians as ignoring the rest of the sacred word of God, which they believe came through Muhammad...
...who is in their opinion God's final prophet. And maybe if you give it 700-800 more years, there will be another religion claiming that Muhammad was not the last prophet, but that their new guy is, and they will have new Holy Books and new Revelations. Or maybe not, considering the increasing secularism of the world, and the reliance and understanding of science, which makes all these silly myths obsolete.
thrust me, it will be very hard for those priests and others who practice the traditions of men to enter the kingdom of God..
the Hebrew bible is a prelude to the new testament, I read both - many predictions from the prophets, not only of Jesus but of God's people have come true and are coming true today - that is how you know the bible is true - fulfilled prophecy...the end - times are close man, I know it's sounds mad but believe me when I tell you this - you should give Jesus a try...
their traditions are wrong, Jesus saves by grace and repentance, not actions. did you read the parable of the pharisee and the money lender, the pharisees were people who kept God's laws and lived according to there traditions and never sinned, so they thought they were safe in God's sight, but all men sin - it is inside not outside, so they thought that they did not need forgiveness, but the moneylender asked God to forgive him FROM THE HEART, and he is the one who will see the kingdom of God
Emmanuel means God with us, that is what Jesus was - God in the flesh..
how is the fulfilled prophecy just interpretation, I watched a video the other day and it said for all those prophecies to be filled in one man was billions to one, there were over 15 separate prophecies that Jesus fulfilled during his life, I am not in a denomination, I don't go to church, I read my bible and keep God's laws and pray that he may bless me with the holy spirit, church is very corrupt - most of them anyway
That's just your word against theirs. There's no reason to believe what your Holy Book says over the Hebrew Bible or the Koran. And you can't appeal to what's inside the book to explain why the book is true - any book can claim to be true, it doesn't mean it is.
"Jesus saves by grace and repentance, not actions"
Just from a subjective perspective (bearing in mind that neither book gives me a reason to believe what it says is true), the idea or grace and repentance
is morally bankrupt compared to actions. Actions are more important than thoughts and intentions. If I murder someone in cold blood, and then feel truly sorry about it, I'm still a bad person. Intentions do count for something, but the action is more important. There are a lot of well-meaning people who do awful things. I care about what someone does, not what they wanted to do or what they thought they were doing, and apology rarely makes it better when the crime is severe.
And the idea that Jesus can forgive sins is also wrong. The only person that can forgive sins is the person that was harmed by the sin. If I murder someone, that is why murder is an unforgivable sin - because the person I killed isn't around to forgive me.
Christianity treats sins like they are a magic curse that can be washed away by saying the right words and holiness being magically applied for Jesus onto someone else. The whole idea that "Jesus' blood washes away the sins of mankind" is...
...they have some kind of mathematical ratio about the likelihood of prophecy, or did they try to have these prophecies fulfilled over and over again and see how often they were fulfilled versus how often they were not fulfilled?
Fulfilled prophecy is just interpretation because prophecies are written in vague poetic terms that must be interpreted before we even know what they are supposedly predicting. In other cases, it never even says "this is a prophecy" in the original text, people just...
"thrust me, it will be very hard for those priests and others who practice the traditions of men to enter the kingdom of God.."
Um, no, I won't trust you. There's no evidence that there is any Kingdom of God in the first place.
"the Hebrew bible is a prelude to the new testament"
Not according to the Jews it isn't. Your people merely tacked the New Testament onto it and reinterpreted the Old Testament to fit with the New Testament. In reality, they clearly portray different gods - one is a...
...vengeful god of war and the other is meek and mild. That's just the start of where they don't fit together. Jesus contradicts the old laws God put down - but why would God make those laws in the first place, unless it was to trick millions of people into being damned? You say the only way into the Kingdom of God is through Jesus, then that means everyone who died before Jesus came went to hell. That is unfair.
Yeah, people have only been saying that for thousands of years. Every generation of humans believes they are the last, and they have all been wrong so far.
"I know it's sounds mad"
That's because it is mad.
"but believe me when I tell you this - you should give Jesus a try..."
No, I'm not going to believe you unless you provide a reason why I should.
did you ever hear of murderers and rapists getting locked up, they read the bible, truly repent of their sins and ask Jesus in to their hearts, then they never do anything bad for the rest of there lives, is that not amazing..?
there are plenty of reasons why you should accept Jesus, but people won't because they know they will have to leave this life and it's many pleasures and follow him, the carnal mind works against the spirit...
hell is not literally a place of fire, it means the grave, the soul is not eternal, when you die you simply fall asleep and your life giving spirit returns to it's source - God -
THEY ONLY WAY YOU CAN HAVE ETERNAL LIFE IS IF GOD CHOOSES TO RESURRECT YOU TO IT..
the God that you describe as vengeful is God the father, God the son is the God of the new testament - it is like this, you are part of your father, but I bet your father is much more strict than you, Jesus is more like a big brother.
I have heard of that in anecdotal evidence, but it is beside the point. I never said a murderer can't be reformed, or that they can't become a better person. I said that they can't be forgiven by the person they have murdered, because that person is dead. And the only person who has the right to offer forgiveness to a murderer is the victim.
The point is, they still killed someone. You can't take that back.
"there are plenty of reasons why you should accept Jesus"
I was actually asking for reasons why I should believe in the Bible.
"hell is not literally a place of fire"
Jesus refers to a lake of fire, and a place where the worm never dies and gnaws on your flesh for all eternity. Also, dead bodies do not "wail and gnash" their teeth. Hell is a literal place according to Jesus.
I wouldn't want eternal life with God anyway. I'm okay with Jesus, he teaches some good things, but Yahweh is evil.
"the God that you describe as vengeful is God the father, God the son is the God of the new testament"
Then you have two Gods - good cop and bad cop?
"it is like this, you are part of your father, but I bet your father is much more strict than you, Jesus is more like a big brother."
Even supposing my father is more strict than me, my father does not command animal sacrifice. My father does not tell me to kill gay people, adulterers, and disobedient children by hitting them with stones.
If my father was like that, I would run away from home or go to the police. "God the father" as you call him, is a barbaric, evil dictator. No, if the Bible is true, Jesus being a good guy can't undo how awful "God the father" is. Considering that your religion is supposed to have only one God, and they are supposed to be the same, I can't hate one without hating the other.
You seem to be sweeping "God the father" under the rug. Is it because you also realize how evil he is?
God is only angry not evil, there is no evil in God - only wrathful righteousness and love, he is only angry at the people who disobey and hate him, which is only fair, and that is God just - fairness, he is like a judge, he condemns people according to his law, you could have a kind hearted judge who condemns people to death couldn't you, if you made a world and the people disobeyed you and hated you, what would you do..?
No, it is PURE EVIL to command that a disobedient CHILD be put to death BY BEING HIT WITH STONES. If you cannot admit that, you are MORALLY BLIND.
"he is only angry at the people who disobey and hate him"
Wrong, he killed all the first-born Egyptians, including children. There are so many other examples of God killing people who either have a petty offense or no offense that it would take me days to tell all of them.
"you could have a kind hearted judge who condemns people to death couldn't you"
No, you cannot have a kind hearted judge who condemns people to death for ADULTERY or DISOBEDIENCE or HOMOSEXUALITY. Seriously, do you think any of the Iranian judges having people stoned to death for these very crimes are KIND-HEARTED?! Tell me how you feel about that?
yes artist's do destroy some art they create, and in some cases the work turns out the way they had planned, I am glad you said that because that is what God is, he is an artist who will destroy his creation if it turns out wrong and re - do it right, just like the flood, he purified the earth but we sinned again and the same will happen at the second-coming, the only difference is we will be sin-free because Jesus lived a sin-free life and for those that believe, he bridges that Gap of sin...
Most artists do not have living work, however. My point was, the artist DOES NOT BLAME THE WORK, THEY BLAME THEMSELVES. The reason we are sinful, if God exists, is because GOD IS INCOMPETENT. Why should we suffer because of his foolishness?
How stupid is it to flood the Earth, killing however many billion people, some of whom would have had to be innocent (children are innocent), only to have things go right back to how they were? I though God was supposed to be perfect and see the future?
yeah man sometimes I ask myself the same questions, but I pray about these things and realize it is all for the bigger picture, God is testing us all the time to see who is worthy of eternal life and his kingdom.
remember God is eternal so he has plenty of time, he knows the end from the beginning - I believe everything happens for a reason, and if you are Christian, born again that is - you know the dead will all be raised to new life and those who starve will be full
All that means is that you stop looking for answers. The only reason you keep faith is because you will yourself to believe despite the evidence to the contrary.
I am not eternal; I don't have time to waste on a religion that makes a lot of empty promises with NOTHING to back it up, and neither do you. Life is short, and there is no reason to believe we get an afterlife, that God exists, that the Bible is true, or any other religion, for that matter.
I think there is more evidence for God than against, look at a sunrise or the universe or the intelligence and laws behind life itself, do you think this is an accident, it just came together somehow, we are just a drop in the ocean compared to the universe, so why do people love God that much that they are willing to give up all their carnal desires and temporary pleasures and follow him
That's just a matter of how you look at it. Maybe I look at the world and think it is ugly, full of pain and suffering, things don't work as well as they should. It's just opinion.
I do happen to think the world is beautiful, but that doesn't mean God is real. Natural forces can produce beauty and order. Maybe that's just the way things are.
I don't think it is an "accident" - I think it happened because of the laws of physics, chemistry, & biology acting together.
If you look at how big the universe is, we really are just a tiny speck of dust compared to it. Why would a God that made the universe FOR US make us such a tiny part of it? Why make all that stuff that is so far away, we will never even see it? What would be the point of that?
"so why do people love God that much that they are willing to give up all their carnal desires and temporary pleasures and follow him"
Fanatical Muslims are willing to blow themselves up for their God. Doesn't make...
...him real. But that is even more devotion - and even the average Muslim prays FIVE TIMES A DAY. But you and I would both agree that Allah doesn't exist.
how can God be evil if he came down and died for us..
I told you I have unanswered questions my self but I think I am a smart enough person to see there is an intelligent creator, and I believe him to be the God of the bible, if you don't at least acknowledge the creator..
"how can God be evil if he came down and died for us.."
What does that have to do with good and evil? Why would he have to "die for us" at all? He could have created the world however he wanted. Could have created a world with no sin and suffering, and a perfect humanity that would have free will but would always do the right thing. To do anything other than that is evil.
And to command that children be put to death for disobeying their parents is evil. How would Jesus dying do anything to undo that?
"I told you I have unanswered questions my self but I think I am a smart enough person to see there is an intelligent creator, and I believe him to be the God of the bible, if you don't at least acknowledge the creator.."
This has nothing to do with smart or dumb. It's perception, how you were raised, and how questioning you are, and whether you want to believe.
Van Impe calls his on-screen persona "an evangelist action figure," complete with kabuki-thick facial make-up and a plastic hair-simulant prosthesis. The parody includes grandiose body language: sweeping hand and arm gestures, swaying head and torso, and perpetually bouncing eyebrows. His trademark staccato delivery style brings it all together. "
but I mean he is obeying the laws of this world so he is required to honor the law, whether he likes it or not, the same way God honor his laws, do you think he gets joy from all the punishment he HAS to give out, well he does not but he Has to judge by his laws, because that is God - justful - righteous- judgement, he won't break them for anyone.

Rigotto90 1 year ago
@Rigotto90 There was an Israel to restore by the time Jesus was born. It had been conquered. Being occupied by the Romans is essentially the same as being destroyed, thus, Jesus was saying the kingdom would be re-established independent. He never said how long it would take.
Israel had this prophecy - Jews were well aware of it. Then, through the political movement, Zionism, they made it happen during the 19th century, until Israel was re-created. It's self-fulfilling.
Zomnificent 1 year ago
@Zomnificent Where did I say that they would be destroyed? You're fabricating an argument and countering what you've fabricated. I said that they would be exiled. Look up the definition of exile. Read the bible, or at least the verses I gave you.
Rigotto90 1 year ago
@Rigotto90 If the people of a nation are exiled, the nation has been destroyed//dismantled. That's what I meant. In fact, I never treated it as if you said the Jews themselves would be destroyed, but that the nation would - so you're the one making a straw man.
I don't think you understand how I view this or how the people who wrote the Bible viewed it. They made all these prophecies and said that they would happen within their lifetimes.
Zomnificent 1 year ago
Jesus was talking about the Kingdom of God as imminent - that people should sell all their stuff and stop worrying about tomorrow, because the world was going to end within their lifetimes.
It's only because this didn't happen that Christians reinterpreted it, and continue to reinterpret it today, as referring always to some near date in the future. You've been doing it for hundreds of years - each Christian generation believes it's the last. They are always wrong.
Zomnificent 1 year ago

Rigotto90 1 year ago
@Rigotto90 Wait a minute, destroyed and exiled are only two different things when it suits your purpose? You just said you have a double standard. How dishonest.

Jesus told his disciples that he would return before anyone in the room was dead. Since they're all dead, that's proof that he either already came back or was a fake.
Zomnificent 2 years ago
Jesus did not say that he would return before the apostles were all dead. The Bible clearly states that the Antichrist will stand in Jerusalem, perform lying signs and false wonders and miracles, and those who are decieved into believing that he is Jesus, they will bear the mark of the beast in their minds. the seventh trumpet will blow, and our bodies will become spiritual bodies, and we will meet Jesus up in the clouds when he tears open the eastern sky as the lion of the tribe of judah. Amen.
munku121 2 years ago
@Zomnificent he never said that
carlrondeau 1 year ago
@carlrondeau Jesus does say that "all of these things will come to pass" before his audience dies. It's in Revelation.
Revelation 1:1 "The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must SHORTLY come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:"
Zomnificent 1 year ago
@Zomnificent Revelation 3:11: "Behold, I come QUICKLY: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown."
Matthew 16:28: "Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom." (Also repeated in Luke 9:27)
Matthew 23:36: "Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation."
Matthew 24:34: "Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled."
Zomnificent 1 year ago
@Zomnificent Mark 9:1: "Verily I say unto you, That there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power."
Mark 13:30: "Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done."
Luke 21:32: "Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled."
That's enough. Jesus says that everything he is prophesying will happen while some of his apostles as still alive.
Zomnificent 1 year ago
@Zomnificent "this generation" meaning the generation in reference- But Jesus does not specify what time period this is in. Also, about Matthew 16:28- THEY DID see him coming into his kingdom as a spirit after he rose from the dead. Congratulations smart guy, you have the ability to take things out of context. Do you really want to burn in hell for going out of your way to try to make people denounce God?
Rigotto90 1 year ago
@Rigotto90 Jesus was talking to people that were right in front of him. That's clearly who he was referring to. You're like Bill Clinton asking what the word "is" meant.
As to your second point, it's vague what it means to "see the Son of Man coming into his kingdom."
I'm not going to burn in hell. There is no such place. I will continue to try and convince people there is no God.
Zomnificent 1 year ago
It's really quite arrogant of you to think that Jesus was referring to you when he said "this generation." It makes no sense. What you're actually doing is contorting the meaning of the text - because it has already been PROVEN FALSE.
Zomnificent 1 year ago
Just out of curiousity, how do you explain Mark 9:1, where Jesus says explicitly that "some that stand here" will not taste of death until they have "seen the Kingdom of God come with power"?
Zomnificent 1 year ago
@Zomnificent READ THE WHOLE CHAPTER. He's clearly talking about the generation in the end times (after the re-establishment of Israel) That's right, it's in the bible that the time of the end won't come until after Israel is exiled from their homeland then brought back never to be exiled again. *WHICH HAPPENED IN 1948* (Amos 9:14-15) Read what you're arguing against before you attack it. Because you look ignorant now. Secondly- vague indeed to those who read with mind and not with the spirit.
Rigotto90 1 year ago
@Rigotto90 Where is it clear that he's talking about after Israel is re-established?
Amos 9:14-9:15 - what's this about planting vineyards and gardens? That's your captivity? Come on.
There is no spirit, so there is no other way to read except with the mind.
Zomnificent 1 year ago
@Zomnificent Ok, because the END OF THE AGE is when Jesus Christ comes down for the millennial reign after judging the world governments and ending the battle of armaggeddon.... There wouldn't be an Israel to restore if he came back before they returned. In other words, how, if he came back 20 years later let's say, could he do something that'd be impossible in the future during his reign? During his physical reign as king on Earth he will be established in Israel with the resurrected.
Rigotto90 1 year ago
@Zomnificent When Jesus was born Israel was occupied by the Romans. They weren't yet exiled to scatter throughout the world. Also, Jeremiah in chapter 30:3, Deuteronomy 4:27-31, Isaiah 11:11, Ezekiel 36:24-35...All prophetic of Israel returning to the land after being scattered among the nations. A process which took 1900 years, no other nation has done this past 150 years let alone had they been prophesied to do so fitting any sort of time frame. Further bible study reveals the time frame.

ONEWORLDCONCERNS2 2 years ago
In that verse, it's Zechariah saying he will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone, but Zechariah is dead.
Also, it's the people who burden themselves with it, the Jewish people, who will be cut in pieces. He's talking about the Jewish diaspora that already happened.
Zomnificent 2 years ago
Zomnificent - No. You are very incorrect. It's talking about the last days. It's a prophectic verse. Did you know the Islam mahdi, which is not Christian, is to sign a 7 year peace agreement with the Jews in the last days. Now, that is that's in their doctrine; not in the Holy Bible. The Christian's antichrist will sign a 7 yr peace agreement with Israel. Do you know the story of Ishmael and Issac. The Arabs are Ismael's decendants and the Jews are Issac's.
ONEWORLDCONCERNS2 2 years ago
No, it isn't talking about the last days. The people who wrote it were Jewish. They were not Christian. It has been re-interpreted by Christians to support their arguments. Muslims do the same thing with Christianity.
I don't give a rat's ass about the rest of what you wrote there.

Get ready.
ONEWORLDCONCERNS2 2 years ago

ONEWORLDCONCERNS2 2 years ago
You're crazy. There is no impending one world government or apocalypse. Even if there was a one world government, it would probably be a good thing. No more pointless wars, and better sharing of food with the starving people.
Besides, there is no god.
Zomnificent 2 years ago
Zomnificent- You haven't been watching much of the headline news lately, have you? The Pope is calling for a new world order. Al Gore is talking about Global governance. Henry Kissinger said on a video here on Youtube that "Obama is primed to create the new world order." The Bible talks of an antichrist that will sigh a 7 yr peace treaty with Israel in the last days. There was no Israel again for 2534 years. We are seeing the seeking of a peace agreement by Obama and the world. Get ready.
ONEWORLDCONCERNS2 2 years ago
Give me a break. The Bible doesn't predict those things. Obama is not the antichrist.
People have been trying to use the book of revelation to predict that the apocalypse is here for thousands of years. They've been wrong 100% of the time, and they will continue to be wrong, because the Bible has no prophetic power. It's just a book, and there is no God. Remember this moment, when you predicted the apocalypse was here, in thirty years when the world is still around and everything is fine.

Who is to say which ones have the true Bible and which don't? How can you determine that?
Zomnificent 3 years ago
you can determine it by what Lord Jesus said, and by the old testament- which predicted Jesus was the son of God, the messiah of the jews and the savior of all mankind, the bible defines itself perfectly, only thing left now is the second coming - get ready
stem7360 3 years ago
They are all reading the same book and they disagree. Who is right and why?
Zomnificent 3 years ago
And from the perspective of the Jews, the Old Testament DOES NOT predict Jesus as the son of God - their messiah hasn't come yet.
Zomnificent 3 years ago
this is a 2000 year old question, look what happened in Jesus day - they rejected him and they still do, because they are following there traditions, not God - the prophets clearly state that Jesus is the Messiah, I think it was Jeremiah who called him Jesse, and Isaiah who called him Emmanuel -(God - with - us) -
also Jesus filled many of there predictions, such as him riding into Jerusalem on a colt, and many on his life and death...
many Jews will reject Lord Jesus until his second coming

the one true church of God is those who are born again of the holy spirit, no human denomination is correct about God, only God is correct...
stem7360 3 years ago
Okay, first of all, the name "Emmanuel" is not the same as Jesus. It isn't even close, it doesn't even mean son of God. You are really stretching it with that so-called prophecy.
Secondly, all that other stuff that Jesus supposedly "fulfilled", is just interpretation.
You say no human denomination is correct about God, that means yours is wrong, too, doesn't it? Why would you say that if you think your denomination is correct?
Zomnificent 3 years ago
To say "they are following their traditions, not God" assumes from the start that their traditions are wrong. But maybe they are right. Maybe Jesus was just a crazy heretic who believed he was the son of God. Jews mostly view your traditions just about the same as you view the Muslim (and probably Mormon) traditions, as a made-up bunch of nonsense that was not dictated by God. And Muslims view Christians as ignoring the rest of the sacred word of God, which they believe came through Muhammad...
Zomnificent 3 years ago
...who is in their opinion God's final prophet. And maybe if you give it 700-800 more years, there will be another religion claiming that Muhammad was not the last prophet, but that their new guy is, and they will have new Holy Books and new Revelations. Or maybe not, considering the increasing secularism of the world, and the reliance and understanding of science, which makes all these silly myths obsolete.

the Hebrew bible is a prelude to the new testament, I read both - many predictions from the prophets, not only of Jesus but of God's people have come true and are coming true today - that is how you know the bible is true - fulfilled prophecy...the end - times are close man, I know it's sounds mad but believe me when I tell you this - you should give Jesus a try...
stem7360 3 years ago
their traditions are wrong, Jesus saves by grace and repentance, not actions. did you read the parable of the pharisee and the money lender, the pharisees were people who kept God's laws and lived according to there traditions and never sinned, so they thought they were safe in God's sight, but all men sin - it is inside not outside, so they thought that they did not need forgiveness, but the moneylender asked God to forgive him FROM THE HEART, and he is the one who will see the kingdom of God
stem7360 3 years ago
Emmanuel means God with us, that is what Jesus was - God in the flesh..
how is the fulfilled prophecy just interpretation, I watched a video the other day and it said for all those prophecies to be filled in one man was billions to one, there were over 15 separate prophecies that Jesus fulfilled during his life, I am not in a denomination, I don't go to church, I read my bible and keep God's laws and pray that he may bless me with the holy spirit, church is very corrupt - most of them anyway
stem7360 3 years ago
"their traditions are wrong"
That's just your word against theirs. There's no reason to believe what your Holy Book says over the Hebrew Bible or the Koran. And you can't appeal to what's inside the book to explain why the book is true - any book can claim to be true, it doesn't mean it is.
"Jesus saves by grace and repentance, not actions"
Just from a subjective perspective (bearing in mind that neither book gives me a reason to believe what it says is true), the idea or grace and repentance
Zomnificent 3 years ago
is morally bankrupt compared to actions.
Zomnificent 3 years ago
And the idea that Jesus can forgive sins is also wrong. The only person that can forgive sins is the person that was harmed by the sin. If I murder someone, that is why murder is an unforgivable sin - because the person I killed isn't around to forgive me.
Christianity treats sins like they are a magic curse that can be washed away by saying the right words and holiness being magically applied for Jesus onto someone else. The whole idea that "Jesus' blood washes away the sins of mankind" is...
Zomnificent 3 years ago
...just like magic. Sins aren't tangible things that can be washed away, sins are the results of actions.
"Emmanuel means God with us, that is what Jesus was - God in the flesh.."
Give me a break! "God with us" and "God in the flesh" are not the same thing at all! They aren't even close! That is a huge stretch.

Zomnificent 3 years ago
...vengeful god of war and the other is meek and mild.
Zomnificent 3 years ago
"times are close man"
Yeah, people have only been saying that for thousands of years. Every generation of humans believes they are the last, and they have all been wrong so far.

did you ever hear of murderers and rapists getting locked up, they read the bible, truly repent of their sins and ask Jesus in to their hearts, then they never do anything bad for the rest of there lives, is that not amazing..?
there are plenty of reasons why you should accept Jesus, but people won't because they know they will have to leave this life and it's many pleasures and follow him, the carnal mind works against the spirit...
stem7360 3 years ago
hell is not literally a place of fire, it means the grave, the soul is not eternal, when you die you simply fall asleep and your life giving spirit returns to it's source - God -
THEY ONLY WAY YOU CAN HAVE ETERNAL LIFE IS IF GOD CHOOSES TO RESURRECT YOU TO IT..
the God that you describe as vengeful is God the father, God the son is the God of the new testament - it is like this, you are part of your father, but I bet your father is much more strict than you, Jesus is more like a big brother.
stem7360 3 years ago
I have heard of that in anecdotal evidence, but it is beside the point. I never said a murderer can't be reformed, or that they can't become a better person. I said that they can't be forgiven by the person they have murdered, because that person is dead. And the only person who has the right to offer forgiveness to a murderer is the victim.
The point is, they still killed someone. You can't take that back.
Zomnificent 3 years ago
"there are plenty of reasons why you should accept Jesus"
I was actually asking for reasons why I should believe in the Bible.
"hell is not literally a place of fire"
Jesus refers to a lake of fire, and a place where the worm never dies and gnaws on your flesh for all eternity. Also, dead bodies do not "wail and gnash" their teeth. Hell is a literal place according to Jesus.
I wouldn't want eternal life with God anyway. I'm okay with Jesus, he teaches some good things, but Yahweh is evil.
Zomnificent 3 years ago
"the God that you describe as vengeful is God the father, God the son is the God of the new testament"
Then you have two Gods - good cop and bad cop?
"it is like this, you are part of your father, but I bet your father is much more strict than you, Jesus is more like a big brother."
Even supposing my father is more strict than me, my father does not command animal sacrifice. My father does not tell me to kill gay people, adulterers, and disobedient children by hitting them with stones.
Zomnificent 3 years ago
If my father was like that, I would run away from home or go to the police. "God the father" as you call him, is a barbaric, evil dictator. No, if the Bible is true, Jesus being a good guy can't undo how awful "God the father" is. Considering that your religion is supposed to have only one God, and they are supposed to be the same, I can't hate one without hating the other.
You seem to be sweeping "God the father" under the rug. Is it because you also realize how evil he is?
Zomnificent 3 years ago
God is only angry not evil, there is no evil in God - only wrathful righteousness and love, he is only angry at the people who disobey and hate him, which is only fair, and that is God just - fairness, he is like a judge, he condemns people according to his law, you could have a kind hearted judge who condemns people to death couldn't you, if you made a world and the people disobeyed you and hated you, what would you do..?
stem7360 3 years ago
No, it is PURE EVIL to command that a disobedient CHILD be put to death BY BEING HIT WITH STONES. If you cannot admit that, you are MORALLY BLIND.
"he is only angry at the people who disobey and hate him"
Wrong, he killed all the first-born Egyptians, including children. There are so many other examples of God killing people who either have a petty offense or no offense that it would take me days to tell all of them.
Zomnificent 3 years ago
"you could have a kind hearted judge who condemns people to death couldn't you"
No, you cannot have a kind hearted judge who condemns people to death for ADULTERY or DISOBEDIENCE or HOMOSEXUALITY. Seriously, do you think any of the Iranian judges having people stoned to death for these very crimes are KIND-HEARTED?! Tell me how you feel about that?

Does an artist punish a painting for turning out wrong? Does a sculptor punish his sculpture? No!
Zomnificent 3 years ago
yes artist's do destroy some art they create, and in some cases the work turns out the way they had planned, I am glad you said that because that is what God is, he is an artist who will destroy his creation if it turns out wrong and re - do it right, just like the flood, he purified the earth but we sinned again and the same will happen at the second-coming, the only difference is we will be sin-free because Jesus lived a sin-free life and for those that believe, he bridges that Gap of sin...
stem7360 3 years ago
Most artists do not have living work, however. My point was, the artist DOES NOT BLAME THE WORK, THEY BLAME THEMSELVES. The reason we are sinful, if God exists, is because GOD IS INCOMPETENT. Why should we suffer because of his foolishness?
How stupid is it to flood the Earth, killing however many billion people, some of whom would have had to be innocent (children are innocent), only to have things go right back to how they were? I though God was supposed to be perfect and see the future?
Zomnificent 3 years ago
The Flood is just an example of "God the father" being evil.
Zomnificent 3 years ago
yeah man sometimes I ask myself the same questions, but I pray about these things and realize it is all for the bigger picture, God is testing us all the time to see who is worthy of eternal life and his kingdom.
remember God is eternal so he has plenty of time, he knows the end from the beginning - I believe everything happens for a reason, and if you are Christian, born again that is - you know the dead will all be raised to new life and those who starve will be full
stem7360 3 years ago
All that means is that you stop looking for answers. The only reason you keep faith is because you will yourself to believe despite the evidence to the contrary.
I am not eternal; I don't have time to waste on a religion that makes a lot of empty promises with NOTHING to back it up, and neither do you. Life is short, and there is no reason to believe we get an afterlife, that God exists, that the Bible is true, or any other religion, for that matter.
Zomnificent 3 years ago
I think there is more evidence for God than against, look at a sunrise or the universe or the intelligence and laws behind life itself, do you think this is an accident, it just came together somehow, we are just a drop in the ocean compared to the universe, so why do people love God that much that they are willing to give up all their carnal desires and temporary pleasures and follow him
stem7360 3 years ago
That's just a matter of how you look at it. Maybe I look at the world and think it is ugly, full of pain and suffering, things don't work as well as they should. It's just opinion.
I do happen to think the world is beautiful, but that doesn't mean God is real. Natural forces can produce beauty and order. Maybe that's just the way things are.
I don't think it is an "accident" - I think it happened because of the laws of physics, chemistry, & biology acting together.
Zomnificent 3 years ago
If you look at how big the universe is, we really are just a tiny speck of dust compared to it. Why would a God that made the universe FOR US make us such a tiny part of it? Why make all that stuff that is so far away, we will never even see it? What would be the point of that?
"so why do people love God that much that they are willing to give up all their carnal desires and temporary pleasures and follow him"
Fanatical Muslims are willing to blow themselves up for their God. Doesn't make...

how can God be evil if he came down and died for us..
I told you I have unanswered questions my self but I think I am a smart enough person to see there is an intelligent creator, and I believe him to be the God of the bible, if you don't at least acknowledge the creator..
stem7360 3 years ago 2
"how can God be evil if he came down and died for us.."
What does that have to do with good and evil? Why would he have to "die for us" at all? He could have created the world however he wanted. Could have created a world with no sin and suffering, and a perfect humanity that would have free will but would always do the right thing. To do anything other than that is evil.
Zomnificent 3 years ago
