  • People need to realise that saying you wouldve folded or that it was a bad call isnt gonna impress people, it just makes you look like a douche, and when you try explain odds and use poker lingo it doesnt make you good at poker so just shut the fk up.

  • Lol, for anyone that actually plays poker, this is an awful fold. He can easily be up against AT /KT (12 combos) as opposed to AA/KK (6 combos) and he's getting over 2.1 on his money. Its the most standard call in the world. Just cause he picked the right time to be a retarded nit doesn't make it correct.

  • As soon as Geller crossed his arms over his chest and curled up like that (body language portraying vulnerability) I would have folded. Not subtle.

  • Romanello said about this hand that he thought that if he called and lose that was just gonna be another hand of a huge tournament, but if he folded and was right about it it was gonna be a unic laydown. Anyway, the other guy is such a fish telling him things like "stop raising me" or "i`m not gonna show u". Great hand.

  • easy fold vs. that nit

  • i would of laid a royle flush down to him in that position

  • Very standard laydown. The other fish tells him " please dont raise me" trying to show weakness , he is clearly a monster hand. Besides when he says he is not gonna show is also a proof of how strong he is. What would he be raising with??? jacks full is only like the fourth nuts. Pocket tens, pocket acces, pocket kings. Good play, not the best laydown ever

  • @chuletas12 Dude, shut the fuck up.

  • @HigherPoker Ok then, why is it so lame? The commentator said that Geller had made a big pre-flop raise. I then made the comment that if he had a history of only making big pre-flop bets when he actually has a big hand, such as Aces or Kings, then it's easier to think he may've made a set when the flop was A,K,J. Which he then slow played.

Maybe it was just an incredible read by Romanello to know he was against a better full house, or maybe history gave him a hint as to what he might be against.

  • I also could have folded that hand, because i'm the next big thing..

  • I love that man.

  • 240P great! :)

  • i would have shoved

  • I would like to see how this hand developed.

  • @borhap399 50-100 blinds. geller makes 600 preflop matusow & romanello limp call. flop akj check around. 4th street 10 check around. river 10 matusow check

  • @jubileeshine rather romanello made 300 preflop geller 3 bet to 600.

  • i love this hand

  • I have never seen Geller play before, but if he's the type of player who will only bet big before the flop if he actually has a good, hand such as kings or aces, then he's basically told everyone what he's got, which makes this lay down an easier call.

  • The "just dont raise me" line gave it away. People try to get cute and confuse people but what they end up doing is giving away information. You know what's most confusing? Not saying a fucking thing. That confuses anybody.

  • It's an incredible laydown, but I give part of the credits to the horrible reverse tells

  • would be nice to see the hole hand. seiing only this its just quite bad but historie and action on other streets could make it waay better

  • Jacks full of tens. The dead man's hand.

  • It just as impressive as laying down Jacks preflop isn't it?

  • @VicenzoV not at all

  • @VicenzoV not at all!!!!!!

  • @VicenzoV No, this is much better, there are many times you should consider folding jacks preflop. Such as if there is a raise, reraise and rereraise from 3 different people you have to seriously consider at least one of them having a higher pocket pair.

  • @VicenzoV as usual....the youtube pro is at it again giving great advice

  • They only showed Matusow's reaction, the whole room gasped. I am the guy with a4, saw the whole thing happen. I asked the JJ guy why he folded and he said 'what else is this guy small re raising me with?'

  • fuck your ads and fuck your mother

  • why DA FUCK you lay that down!!!!!!!? should have paid me off in that hand !!!

  • @mprinosil hahaha

    pro movie is pro

  • @mprinosil lol just got done watching that movie haha wow.

  • I love to read advices from the comments of the BEST players in the world, the youtubers.. oh Jesus.. get a life, geeks

  • at *

  • @WhoTheGreat He did not. He as fucking throwing compliments on him.

  • In this situation, you will win 99 out 100 times with his folded hand.

  • I don't think anyone is folding that

  • An amazing laydown. That was a scary board, but I'm not sure what the chipstacks were like. He wouldn't have folded the Jacks if he was on shortest stack and pot-committed, so I guess he had a large stack and could "afford" to give that pot to the other guy. It's the biggest hand I've seen folded on YouTube, but there might be something even higher floating around in cyberspace.

  • @artysmokes AGREE 100% plus at :40 "Deller made a big preflop raise..." AA or KK at the VERY least somewhat likely and extremely costly if he does. Checks on flop and river, consistent with AA or KK..... AK AQ would have bet.... hard fold sure, but ZERO info on "M", prior play from Deller with AA and/or KK, and bubble, crippled stacks at table, etc....

  • pokerview accepts us players very good reliable site

  • Youtube nerds, shut it with your justifications on why he folded. It was all about a feeling. He thought his full house was undone and he was right. On that board, up to the river he could of been betting anything. Straight, trips, two pair, full house, whatever.

Shut up and say 'great fold' and therein ends the debate because with J full of 10s i guarantee 100% of you idiots would of snap called or shoved.

  • @23pantherman Its a video on youtube. The entire point of a comments section is so that other people can give their opinion of the contents of that video. Why are you so offended by people trying to rationalize this fold instead of just deeming it impossible and moving on?

  • "One time?" LOL.

  • I will never fold a fullhouse, never! Not even if it is made on the board!

  • i would like to see all the youtube pros folding J's full...

  • It was obvious he had Romanello beat as soon as he said "Just don't raise me."

  • @naruto3071 I think he really doesnt want to be re-raised saying it!

  • pokerview is open to us players as well

  • Its a hard fold yeah, but when you think about it, big pre flop raise, checks the flop, checks the turn, and re-pops on the river, really says he's strong. Good fold yes, but if you really play the hand over in your head, you should put him on AA or KK.

  • The fold of the tournament that Matusow have ever seen.

  • he had a tell on him but with a board like that, its not that hard of a fold, because opponent can easily have A10, K10, too bad they didnt show the beginning of this hand.

  • @atomisten what?? he would have beat A-10 AND K-10, really the hands that could have beaten him was pocket kings, pocket aces, or pocket 10's

  • @atomisten what?? he would have beat A-10 AND K-10, really the only hands that could have beaten him was pocket kings, pocket aces, or pocket 10's

  • @Milj500 oops i dont know what went through my mind when i wrote that sorry :D

  • @atomisten lol pocket jacks beat K10 and A10 here ...

  • @BambaLover ye i alrdy noticed that i sucked shit when i wrote that comment :_D

  • No, ucla hit it on the head. Spot on. Fold here is not that difficult. Dramatic, but not hard.

  • The "just don't raise me" is what tipped him off.

  • kid shouldn't have talked...

  • Just lost with my quads to a higher quad! This site has to be fixed!!!

  • Comment removed

  • I'm glad Matusow was there to give that fold the reaction it deserved

  • sick laydown but not as difficult as you might think. i've folded full houses on the river at micros before. basically, the guy with KK either had a full house, quads, or was bluffing. since a bluff is extremely unlikely, he should definitely fold in that spot. basically, the guy with KK's range was J10, A10, K10, KK, AA and 1010. even though the JJ guy beats half that range, its much more likely that the KK guy had a pocket pair for a boat.

  • Don't you love how $2 sit-n-go players who finish 7th every tournament online offer their priceless advice to players like Romanello?

  • @Eldomina22 funny but you are right...

  • Roberto Won the WPT Bratislava on Sunday just gone!!!! He goes to the World Series looking for a triple crown!!!

  • amazing fold

  • Just lost with my quads to a higher quad! This site has to be fixed!!!

  • Well to be honest, we cant see Geller's preflop action. My guess is he raised preflop and got called by Romanello, a reraise would be an instant fold for Romanello as Jacks arent that good against a reraise. So if my thoughts are true to how this hand could have been played I can only say wow amazing laydown!!! Which it was but not as much depending on how aggressive the other streets were played, that narrows the field quite substantially but still not easy to fold and who says it is is stupid.

  • @W0lfster Why wouldnt jacks be good for a reraise? Playing deep you can flop a set with overcards on board so you could double up from someone who overplays top pair with AK. Unfortunately for Romanello this scenario happened against a bigger set. Cant believe he folded though, Geller probably watches this video everyday wondering what he did wrong

  • @Joop2008 Playing deep is probably the only reason for calling a reraise with Jacks but even then, generally they are very tricky to call and play out of position unless you flop your miracle set. Unfortunately for this guy, he got beat but this is a rare occasion, generally 3 jacks would be good in this spot as you can get paid off with the Ace and King on the board as players would rarely reraise preflop if they didnt hit either of those cards. Thats just my thoughts anyway.

  • When_creating_a_new_account_at-Full_Tilt_Poker_use_the_Referral_Code:FTUS600_for_a_600$_sign_up_bonus

  • thats a great fold even if ur puting him on kings or aces and u wana go w ur gut and fold thats so hard to do like matasow i cant ever fold there

  • Using_Referral_Code:FTUS600_at_account_sign-up_with_Full_Tilt_Poker_gets_you_a_600$_bonus

  • Thats an awesome fold...

  • fold like a boss

  • OR quad 10's but the chances of that is just rare rare.

  • WHAT Kind of foldis that? You have A FULL HOUSE, the only thing thats beaten you is the TWO ACES, what kind of fold is that you muppet.

  • @ZzTobyZ trollolollololyolyolyolyolyolyolyoly!!

  • @ZzTobyZ Are you an idiot? What do you mean what kind of fold is that? He was right! He put his man on a had and folded when he knew he was beat. And there were 3 different hands that could have beat him, not one you dipshit. He could have gotten beat by Aces full, Kings full, or quad 10's. You're clearly not a poker player, or at least not a good one.

  • it's an easy laydown

  • that is not the fold of the tournament... this indeed is THE greatest fold i have ever seen... folding J's over 10's wow that really needs more than just discipline...

  • I love how mike matusow gets the most tv time even though he did nothing

  • woooow respect man

  • Norman Chad, pack your bags and go to a Franciscan monastery to become the head chief. BTW there are grocery store near monastery's. :p

  • love mikes wow!

  • Guess you'd be moving to a Franciscan monestary to become head chef then.

  • That was sickkkk!

  • he didnt fold because he knew was beat he folded because he scared and wanted to stay in the tournament

  • @benizzz You be scared if your sitting there holding a full boat?

  • nice if he had shown 2 7 off :D

  • what a lay down! dunno if i could have done that just flat call

  • @tmilsted no way in a million years that i could make that fold. I'm so glad that guy won himself a title recently in Prague. With plays like these, he deserves it!

  • lol the peanut came out of his head, THAT'S how good his instincts are

  • Fantastic laydown! What online poker nerds with their 'range analysis' and

'EV calculations' fail to understand is that tells and feel are a massively important part of live play.

  • @FlushitTV I am afraid that this statement is just not right. Tells and feel are two of the things you consider when calculating your opponent's range and therefore your EV..

  • @FlushitTV

that "range analysis" got him to fold you fuckin moron.what "range" of hands would his opponent raise here taking the preflop, flop and turnplay into consideration?only hands that beat him mr.tell and feel.tells are overrated bullshit.

  • @FlushitTV online nerds ? God you fail. You obviously get staked online.

  • @FlushitTV It's funny you say that because he definitely took hand range into account in this scenario. He put the other guy on a very strong hand, maybe through table image or bet sizing or something. Then on the river, there was possibly only 2 hands out of 5 he could beat within the other guys range. The 2 being A/K and Q/Q. With him winning 3/5 times, it's a negative ev play. He's also a beast. I'd snap call.

  • @FlushitTV if you dont think the 2 things you say is important then you are probably a fish anyways. and if you dont play online where the money is at you are a fish too so. thanks for wasting 3 sec of my life

  • @FlushitTV lol and he didnt construct a range of villain? your an idiot

  • @FlushitTV u r gay. 3 bet preflop narrows hand range easily. Flop bet by JJs and reraiser just called. AA, KK, 10s beat him. AK is the only one that does not beat him. 3 out of 4 hands beat him

If QQs calls the flop no way they let a free card checking. QQs you can eliminate someone reraising this board on the river when it is paired this late in the tourney. It is an easier laydown 3handed than u think.

AK would reraise the flop a set would check. JJ are bottom set here and a bad spot in turn

  • @kiddwalker Too bad people 3bet with any two these days. So his range could be anything from AA to 45s.

  • @FlushitTV The live pro, Matusow, wouldn't have been able to make the laydown, but the internet player, Romanello, was able to use range analysis to deduce that his hand was behind Geller's range.

  • Blond guy showed not 1, not 2 but 3 tells (at least what I picked up for watching this multiple times). This added to his PF agg made the decision for the other guy. VNH SIR! I can watch this hand over and over again.

  • congrats on today's ept win!

  • great laydown, maybe best i ever seen. Congrats to him winning the EPT Prague for 640,000 Euros

  • This guy won WPT Prague today

  • @Leviatan086 and congrats to him! He is a tremendous player, was waiting for a big score for way too long!

  • @Leviatan086 / Was the EPT Prag only fyi

  • @Leviatan086 he won EPT and not WPT...but anyway...hes an impressive player i think...he also makes a very big laydown on another tv-show...forget the name of the show, but obv he knows what hes doing

  • When you get in the realm of 'greatest laydown ever' you flirt with people who have bad reasons to lay down hands.

I think he was being too conservative by assuming he has kings or aces full. Now granted, I'm not sure what reads he had on him or how he determine that A10 or K10 wasn't a possibility--but taken alone I can't say this was a great fold.

  • @garveya1 he had raised pretty big pre-flop indicating he had AA or KK.... Just like the announcers said. What makes this a great fold is that he didn't forget that when he went jacks full.

  • was that the best fold ever or the worst fold ever?

  • @AssHoleThunder You're joking, right?

  • @finksc no

  • ivey would have shoved all in and made him fold the Kings full

  • @killerkombokalamari hahahhahahha

  • "if he folds im going to move to a Franciscan monastery"

    after he folds,

"are there even grocery stores near monasteries?"

    ROFL.

  • I would never fold that!! But good lay down

  • @kazzom5866

Lmao. can we play next week my full tilt poker ID = hilltel3028 :]

    And yes

I found out on Full Tilts blog recently you make a new account on the Full Tilt web site using the bonus code AMERICAS if ya do not presently have 1 with them.Good way to acquire some free cash to get better with. Make a deposit and they DOUBLE it also a few other excellent perks. It's only going work for the first 4000 people that sign up using it

  • craziest read, I agree with the mouth, i would have never been able to fold that hand

  • @JanineRobin,@PokerPlum -- if you think you'd only win money and never lose and never go out of tourney, just play something else, may be sudoku but not poker. Matusow said he would never fold such hand, as all good players. Choose what is right by yourself.

  • lolololol@that fold

  • @JanineRobin ... so Matusow made much more than Romanello so I preffer to follow his opinion: I could never folded that hand, he said. Think.

  • @pangenium So you're openly admitting you'd have played this worse than Romanello and you'd have happily lost your chips. Excuse me if I never follow your poker advice, money is important to me.

  • worst fold ever seen

  • @pangenium how?

  • Must admit I would have called that at the least.

Matusow makes me laugh - 'That is the fold of the tournament that I've ever seen'. LOL.

  • Willing to bet a good amount of money that Romanello main game is pot limit omaha.

  • @G00DFELLAZ I was thinking the same thing. Which also tells me you are probably pretty good at PLO too. In PLO, that shit happens all the time. Even so, this is a pretty tough fold. Most people who think they might be beat here still might pay the man off, just in case he had A 10, K 10, etc

  • @G00DFELLAZ I was thinking the same thing. Which also tells me you are probably pretty good at PLO too. In PLO, that shit happens all the time. Even so, this is a pretty tough fold. Most people who think they might be beat here still might pay the man off, just in case he had A 10, K 10, etc. To be honest, I would call it in holdem, and most times in omaha. A lot easier to fold in omaha where players are 6x more likely to have more rediculous hands.

  • @pcochrane123 I'm allright at PLO (still trying to break the 10/20 stakes, which is very hard imo)

but yeah for sure in hold em it's harder to fold, but it depends on the table flow and how nitty that guy actually was.

if the last time the guy played a hand your hair was like patrik antonius (and now you look like jesus) you might insta muck it too lol.

  • lmfao

  • 1:16 "Epic Reaction" Instant respect

  • nobody know how much history theese two guys had with eachother.

with the right image this hand can turn from instashove to instafold.

  • he was correct but that was a retarded laydown

  • @ManiX89 Not that retarded.

He did say " just don't raise me."

MEGA tell that he clearly holds a big heavy MONSTER.

He dug his own grave (fold)

  • i would never be able to bring myself to make that fold...

the best fold of the whole WSOP2008.

  • @saslum6099

Sounds like a plan, Lets play heads up my FTP ID is masda9716 :)

    And yeah

I found out on the Full Tilt Poker blog recently you can currently register a new account on their site with the code SPECIALS ya cannot have a full tilt poker account yet though, this is for for people without an account. It's a great promotional offer. Your 1st deposit get DOUBLED in addition to a few other amazing perks. It's only going work for the first 1500 people that sign up with this

  • The dude saying he would show was the fuckin donk. You never show the hand if somebody says if i fold will you show if u got the nuts....Obviously if he said he wasn't gonna show he would of called

  • This is not a great laydown. He should have at least called and lost the pot. It wasn't much to call so how u can call this a great laydown is beyond me. A lucky play would describe this better.

  • @neilgodfreyy2k shut up, you clearly no nothing about poker.. even some of pokers greats would think they were ahead so i am pretty sure you wouldn't have been able to make this fold...

  • Comment removed

  • @muki1016 ur retarded, jj? are there 5 jacks in the deck?

  • talk about going with your read, even if I thought he had kk I would have called!!! this is the best laydown ever.
