I didn't think anything about international adoption could surprise me anymore, but this takes the cake. Have we Americans no shame? Romania is a sovereign nation. It has every right to join the EU and/or NATO. We have no right to deny them that because we want their kids. Disgusting, entitled arrogance.

If adoption were really about about helping children (rather than helping ourselves TO children), "No more children for adoption" would be cause for celebration, not a "tragedy."
