for a man in a wheelchair painting large heads which require assistants and hydraulic lifts, i would think audience plays a factor. if he were painting merely for himself I think they might be more easil size.
i enjoyed very much these extracts. it's quite refreshing to see interesting people with interesting things to say. any more interviews with artists? thanks for uploading.

He is just amazing. :O I hope that when I'm older I will get half as good. That just made my portraits look worse than garbage even for my age..

@nooninho in another interview, he has said something along the lines of "the larger a painting is, the longer it takes to walk by it."
so i think you're at least partly right
