He worked as a Backup player for Chuck Berry as well as a Session Musician for Diana Ross & The Late John Lennon as well as Michael Jackson on Thriller. He was also in a Group called Skylark with a Hit Record called Wildfire. I bet you Ten to One that if you told every DJ not to play any music he worked on, they wouldn't have a Radio Station especially Adult Contemporary.
