  • One of the Most rockinest songs EVER !!!!!!!

  • There is such an electrifying vibe in the tone of Schenkers guitar here. Raw, spicy, razor sharp just love it. This album is the one i'd grab first in case of a disaster. It just never gets old to me. But not only schenker the whole band is sooooo damn tight! Too bad that around the time this was recorded I was just three years old... :(

  • Many thanks Axe for all your UFO/Schenker vids here on YT!

Schenker, Mogg, Way, Raymond and Parker in full flight way back in '78 were at the top of their game and to this day have a lot to answer for!

Schenker at 23 years of age arrived at the pinnacle of his then still young existence with his guitar playing prowess...and then things went pear-shaped for both him and UFO...strange thing fate, eh...

That feel, passion and tone that he, and the band had was something very special back then.

  • fucking great!!!!!!- I love This heavy rock driving hymn!!!!!!!!!!

  • It's been said, if Eddie Van Halen hadn't come along during this time period, Michael Schenker would have been considered one of the most influential guitarist of his time. I still think he is.

  • Love this man - brings back the good days - excellent - THE BEST

  • dude the begining riff is just kickin it down man. awesome

  • I would've loved to have been in the audience the night this was recorded. Schenker's solo is fucking brilliant! SITN is still one of the 2 greatest live albums ever, in my humble opinion. Thanks for posting this.

  • I had to buy this album (vynil not cd ) twice . it still stands out as 1 of the best hard rock live recordings of any decade..

  • wow this smokes!!

Your the "KING" here in YOU TUBE. My fav. band is "ZEP"(seen 3x's) & the Giants who blew away us all in the 70's. Also, CAL JAM II, I was there too. Ted & Aerosm, & Mahogany Rush were the BAD ASSES!! Ooopsy..lol.

  • thank you very much for that compliment,I was part of that stampede that went over the fence at Cal Jam II too, that was such a great musical experience for me,those great bands, thnx for watching!

Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!! UFO is a great band, i used to sang this song with my father on the car, i didn't even know english that time, but we made a lot little parties inside that car those times !!!

  • This song is a JAM!

  • Hello, since you are querious:

I am Michaels Ex-Wife Gaby. We were together from 1971 until 1981! We met in Germany, moved first to London and later to Los Angeles.

We stayed together for nearly 10 years.

The marrige broke up because I did not get on with all his girl-friends :-)))

Does anybody know what Peter Mensch is doing? Also it would be great to hear from Def Leppard again...

But I speak quite often to Barbara and also have a friendly relationship with Rudolf.

  • I appreciate the info.,I thank you much for taking the time to do so,thnx for watching & take care!

  • hmmm , i dont know , id have to ask ms and see if he remembers, kind of a fuzzy time ,i think rudy told me it was his idea for the b#w look ,

that was the coolest look with ms in b=w and the b=w guitar ,

  • barbera told me rudy and michael are the extreams and shes kinda in the middle=grey , haha i think micael had several guitars at this time , i think the brown one got painted white and the whit one got repainted to b+w , as I remember ms says it was the same guitar he had since he was 17 , i e rudys brown one . this guitar was the one he sat down on the floor in london at the airport to greet pam and tyson, and someone snagged it, along with his vah-vah and clothes, drag

  • Thnx for that input.1 question?on the credits from Def Leppard first album(I bought it when it first came out),on the credits section,Def Leppard thanx Gaby Schenker for her support,is that another Schenker sister?,I only heard of Barbara just recently, fill me in on that if you can, thnx again!

  • hi axe , no gaby was michaels first wife

they met when they where 16 , i think they where together till 79?, gaby was a secretary for peter mensch , who was def leppards manager, and also msgs manager , of the leber/krebs fame.barbera just told me she talked to gaby recently , so shes still around

ive never seen a pic of here , theres a girl on the first msg album, holding a tray of drinks , her name is gaby too , but i dont think its gaby schenker.

  • Thnx again for the scoop on that,I finally know who Gaby was, better late than never ;),you're such a good source,I really appreciated Chef!

  • no prob , ? for you are the new release ufo albums out yet in the us , im dying to hear the extra trax?,

  • I can't wait on those releases either, check out this flashback video:

Scorpions & Michael Schenker - Lipstick Traces '79

  • hey axe , has the photo at 7:03 been retouched , i dont remember ms having the b#w v around that period ?any thoughts

  • Good question chefjameso, this is my guess on this,I don't think it was retouched, the time of this pic. could have been around the very last days with UFO as you can see the pic. at 7:30 Rudolph Schenker is in the background, the Lovedrive Tour, maybe he had decided to use the B&W V by then, that's just my guess but you're right ,Michael was never known to use the B&W V,but I remember when this poster came out and this was before MSG and I do remember it was brown just like this pic.!

  • Now thats more like it=real rocknroll

  • The best of the best right here Strangers In the Night version.

  • great epic hard/hevy rock drive track!!!!!!!!!this guys every time kick ass!!!!!!!!!!
