  • I have the picture disc of this record. Fantastic vocals. I have met them several times. One of the few groups who had time to meet their fans

  • I agree with issitme I fell in love with Kathy the first time I saw her and guess what I still am, one day maybe, who knows, oh well I can dream can't I, Kathy is a very sexy lady.

  • Why many listeners say the Dooleys sound like Bucks Fizz? They much more similiar to ABBA in this video!

  • The other girl is NOT NOT Jay Aston from Bucks Fizz....My God....How can you get that wrong!!!

Her name is Vicky Roe and she was a member of The Dooleys during the mid-late 1980's..........Take it from someone who knows!!

  • the reason they sound like buck fizz is down to the fact that the other girl with cathy is jay who was with buck fizz for some years.

  • don,t be talkin rude about Kathy..she,s a lady...xx.

  • God almighty! They sound just like Bucks Fizz. I have some of their earlier material, Chosen Few, Wanted, Love Of My Life etc.

I still want to shag those Dooley girls. Awesome. Nice music too. Good package - - - dream on!

    Sigh.

  • ive been in love with kathy dooley for 30 years stil am

  • I second issitme comment.

  • The redheat looks so like the actress shirley mclaine loved the dooleys where 4 thy now!!

  • I used to have a thing for her when I was a kid. I think she's married to D.S. Grieg from the Bill now.

  • are there any mp3's of these songs on line anywhere

  • Have you watch Love Patrol in my Channel

  • The "In car Stereo" album was released over here but only on cassette. I bought it at rhe Aquarius when they performed there. I asked Kathy why it was only on tape, as I preferred albums (as tapes didn't last), then made my own tapes for the car, and she said it was intended to be for the car and the marketing men had come up with the idea. After about 12 months.... the tape broke.

  • Sounds awfully like BUCKS FIZZ gues it was of the time though.

  • i loved this line up. they look/sound at their peak

  • A special fan club released video in the early 80s featuring songs from The Dooleys "In Car Stereo" album (only released in Japan). The Dooleys had suffered the major loss of 3 members a year or 2 before. These tracks feature Jim and Kath on vocals, supported by Vicki Roe), John and Frank Dooley on guitar and Alan Bogan (their original drummer). Pete Wynette on keyboards and I think it is Gaz Morgan on bass (but I could be wrong about the bassist).
