Why are the two professors at the Education Ministry always doing things the wrong way? President Kibaki, why do you and your government officers perpetually give us Kenyans sleepless nights? And President Kibaki, why have you not yet fired Karega Mutahi and Sam Ongeri?
This is where Professorship or Doctorhood bears no resemblance to intelligence one bit, and we must not fail to question these old men and their motives. I'm impressed at how aware people are of ill and potentially devastating practices such as those executed by those we believe to be worthy of certain seats. This awareness makes me hopeful that the new constitution might somehow force accountability upon citizens, who in turn will result to demanding the same of officials and leaders.

Most young folks don't even speak their mother tongue properly and so in short you'll force Kenyans to speak English only if you kill Swahili which is a joke ...
Even guys in shaggz speak Swahili nowadays as you can see on YouTube Videos ... Kill Swahili and what next ... Force everyone to learn the 42 Kenyan languages to communicate or what?
When using Sign Language someone has to translate the signs verbally right? What Language will KNEC use? How do yu tell he/she said it in English, Chinese or Kiswahili? acheni uvivu wa akili ati Dr na PhD! old men and old women in the ministry with a lot of idle time just messing things up!
The government cannot be trusted. They make decisions because of pressure of narrow interest groups. If there is no operation virimbi, policy is sneaked in. Thankyou media for being vigilant.
Deaf people have a right to their national language...they should be allowed to embrace and learn Kiswahili Why limit their potential? The deaf can do and learn anything...it is just that they can't hear!
I wonder if Kiswahili Sign Language is the same in all East African countries.
