i think my favorite part of the whole movie was....the whole movie. i still havent decided which is my favorite film, Thirst or Oldboy. two totally different films, but two excellent films by Park Chan-wook.

another great vampire movie with SENSE! theres only 2 vampire movie for me which are brilliantly well made, amazing plot and poetically well said used lines. this one and the other one is "Let the right one in" (Swedish film).

This is one of the greatest vampire films I have ever seen. Very bloody and erotic - perfect! I went to see it in my local, independent theater that caters to rare films.
i saw the movie yesterdayin movie festival.. it was ok becasue its too long and i never got bored. but it is too much dark and there are so many scenes with blood. thats why after the movie you dont want to eat or drink anything..the end was good also.. not bad.
Since I can remember reading vampire books and watching vampire movies most of them have been romantic in nature. Not every vampire movie with a romantic nature is ripping off twilight. I watched this film when it came out in Korea's cinema and I was disappointed quite a bit.
Unlike 'Old Boy' which had both commercial and artistic success on international level, this film went downhill in Korean film market. You will see the reason why it failed after you see the film.
i didn't care for old boy i thought it was too long and the stories were convoluted but i just saw the thirst last night.... it's laying like that. go see it.

I watched this film when it came out in Korea's cinema and I was disappointed quite a bit.
Unlike 'Old Boy' which had both commercial and artistic success on international level, this film went downhill in Korean film market. You will see the reason why it failed after you see the film.
