UTE - a local indian tribe and the name ascribed to members of my alma mater, the University of Utah, home of the Runnin' Utes.
Just completed a solo 1,000 mile loop of Nevada this weekend on the Lonliest Highway in America, Highway 50 (the old Lincoln Highway. I cannot describe how beautiful that much "nothing" can be. You're alone out there with the coyotes, antelope, and jack rabbits. I highly recommend it. - Bill
@UTAHbilly UTE...got it. Username and significance, vice some Forum Administrator Accronym. Haven't had the chance to do any long distance solo stuff on the hack yet. It's still in the early stages. I do appreciate your sentiment of your weekend ride though. I can't wait to be in a position to do rides like that again. I'll definently put it on the list. It is very beautiful country out there.
@UTAHbilly Kind words, Bill. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I sure did enjoy getting the footage. The longest ride I've done on this rig (175 miles)...extended shakedown. UTE...let's see...Unapologetic Technical Expert?
