Ron Paul give money back from a decent supporter? Do the other candidates ever get asked if they are going to distance themselves from Jewish supremacist groups like the ADL? AIPAC? Well, I know he loaned himself $7 million at some point in 2007, I just can't find where he did that and if it was counted in the $23 million that was quoted in an article, or in the roughly $21.5 million shown at thecaseforronpaulDOTcom's Fund Raising page. Fine question Alby. Can I ask you how leaving would be a bad thing? The answer is the bloodshed that would ensue, right? And we're preventing that now? Also, we're disobeying the constitution by being over there. We shouldn't continue to break the law. Ron Paul voted to obey the constitution and has continued to legislate that way.
Let me just add that the people telling us that there will be massive blood shed and a haven for terrorists are the same ones who told us there were WMDs, that this would be a quick war, and that we'd be met as liberators. I still think obeying the constitution is the primary reason to leave.

I am in the military and I donated $375 on Nov 5th. I will be donating $400 on Dec 16th. I think this will be the best use of my donation since the only media reporting I have heard about Ron Paul has been related to the NOV 5th Money bomb.

Besides, everyone knows that most of the insurgents are Iraqis, NOT foreign terrorists. The Zarqawi hunt was all a military psyop to trick us into thinking there's some outside threat that needs to be stopped, so we can just stay there even longer according to Bush's wishes. Zarqawi was in no way affiliated with al Qaeda and even fought against them in many ways. There is no fucking "al Qaeda in Iraq", and do you really think they'd call themselves such a simple name?

Also, we're disobeying the constitution by being over there. We shouldn't continue to break the law. Ron Paul voted to obey the constitution and has continued to legislate that way.

The Iraqi people can take care of themselves. Even they want us out! I'm sure they knokw their own best interests, and the only way they'll "stand up", as you refer to it, is if we stand down and leave and give them an incentive to do so!! They have no reason to stand up now when they know the American military is doing all the work for them. There's no proof that the terrorists will "follow us home" if we leave. That is propaganda. Congress voted for this war, so it wasn't illegal, I agree that it was a messy situation getting into the war, whether Bush was lying or just mistaken I don't really know and that doesn't matter so much because we all know it was a mistake to go in, but the fact is we are there.

yes you're right that it is congress' fault for authorizing bush to invade, but it still is an illegal war. congress decided to ignore the constitution and allowed bush to attack another country without a formal declaration of war. a formal declaration would have required a lot more reflection by congress before voting yes.

well the president is authorized to act w/out congressional approval in the case of an imminent threat, i.e. someone is about to attack our territory. even if iraq had WMDs (which they clearly did not), there was no way they could reach us.

Even if there would be no terrorist haven, it would still leave a vacuum of power which could possibly be filled by a new one that is even more malevolent towards the US. We caused this chaos and it would be the responsible thing to do to pick up the pace with stablilizing the government so we can get the troops out there as quick as possible. Many candidates have offered solutions, look at Joe Biden's plan for example.

Thats also true what you said about Bush not being dictator...because he definetly isn't. We are in Iraq because Congress voted for it, I'm not supporting Bush, but the Congress should take responsibility for their own actions. Also, its about half and half in terms of Americans who want us out.
Even if some Iraqis want us out, many more want order, many also are grateful for the good things the US military is doing in Iraq.

It is worth it to try and stabilize things before we leave, not only to help the innocent victims in Iraq, many of whom are suffering because we took away their order, but it would be in the self interest of America too. We shouldn't have been there, but as long as we are, we should keep from an all out civil war spreading in the Middle East.

How does he help the middle class then? Well if you researched his platform on monetary policy, you'd learn that it would effectively curb inflation. On top of that, you won't be hit w/ an income tax. That's right, you get to keep ALL your money (minus state taxes of course), and you don't have to worry about its worth going down due to inflation.

zoromaskcoming: finish the job? But what is the job? You think it is fighting extremist. I think it is steeling oil en dominating another religions part of the world. Both jobs are unfinishable. If they continue they will continue untill somebody even comes for you... So better stop killing people, they will stop also.
