I know it's been a few months since this video was posted, buuuut, meh :B Chrono Cross would still somewhat have to do with this, several characters are BELIEVED to appear in that game, both as playable and NPC's I believe, but there's no real proof, and although their world was destroyed by something I still don't entirely understand. . .many things that were in Chrono Trigger are either referenced or reappear in Chrono Cross.

Just a few things I think is going on here:

Crono talks in Chrono Cross when you encounter him as... ...a Ghost or whatever the crap that was. On the other hand, It's been a while, but I don't think that was really Crono though.

Frog in the Japanese version is a brat. I don't know why he's so drastically different in the two versions, but Frog is rude and unchivalrous in the original script.

I'd explain Crono's talking in CE as the people making the game's way of making Crono more personable

From what's been shown so far this looks like a pretty good hack. It's obvious the guys who made it actually put some work into it, unlike the people who make those stupid difficult mario hacks.
