It's always sad when u watch the entire lot of seasons together knowning the last one is coming because U kinda wish it carried on forever. This was one of the best comedys ever written imo..Great way to end it with Mr Spooner getting the big break in showbiz..He had to put up with being treated like crap by everyone for yrs..thnx to the writers & BBC or which evr tv channel made it. Also big thnx to @mtwini09 4 posting the entire series of this brillaint show..Very much appreciated..laters!

I hate that this is the last episode of this cracking comedy..I'm gonna have to download the last 5 seasons b4 it disappears from youtube forever..Brilliant comedy. Set women's rights back a few hundred yrs tho..haha! How many different secretary's did Rumbold and Young/Old Mr Grace have in the timeline of theshow

For the two series he was in, this was really the only episode Spooner had a key role in. Perhaps they wrote it for him, knowing it was the last ever episode and didn't want him to feel left out, or perhaps the writers had some money invested in Mike Berry's singing career and wanted to provide a platform for a free advert :)

Mike Berry is a fabulous singer. Also, I wish they elaborated a bit more on Mr. Spooner's character in his seasons.

Watching, or rewatching rather, all of the AYBS? series is so nostalgic. I used to stay up way past my bedtime to watch AYBS? and Keeping up Appearances, in tandem, on PBS. Thank you so much for uploading all of these.

@DazlinDivaz The song is called "Chanson d'amour". It's a popular song written by Wayne Shanklin which was Top Ten hit in 1958 for Art and Dotty Todd; a remake by the Manhattan Transfer was an international hit - #1 in the UK - in 1977.
