I mean of course they can't say fuck on network tv, but it's like this quantum separate narrative or something, where this English mainstream group plays a mildly poetic song on American TV, as opposed to the other reality: a group of human beings rooted in these music genres that transcend generations, saying something really human. In the official music video, watch the way they actually say "fuck," spitting it regretfully. It's a broken, fallible human admission of imperfection.
