guitar hero how to fix broken strum and whammy bar

I need help!

my guitar controller for the WT happens to work with the receiver only when removing the neck of the guitar (which only leaves the guitar body workin), but right after I put the neck the red light just turns off and it stops working.

what can I do, please help if anybody knows how to fix it!

yep I took a liking to it as well but it the strum bar started doublestrumming no matter waht so I swithced back to the gh2 guitar which only recently broke on me and I had that thing forever.

just another usful tip for you guys so you wont have to worrie about the rubber breaking is if you have a sister. rob one of her hair band things and use that lol. it will last longer and you can hate on you sister for all the times she tryed showing you up as a child hahahaha. pay back bitch

I dont know whats wrong with my strum bar. When i strum, it keeps going on the game in whatever direction i strummed. So if i stum down once, it keeps strumming even though my strum bar is in the correct place.

@BADRANG8700 ehh, on the gh3 guitar its not gona stay on but I tried it for a bit on the ghwt guitar. It makes strumming a bit harder, so your probably not gona be getting war ensemble fc's, but unless your going for fairly strum intensive fc's it should be fine.

You said the rubber band strum bar fix only works for the GHWT controller, right? How do you fix a loose strum bar on the GH3 controller?

Hmm, you could try the rubber band thing, but from my expirience it's a great way to take your eye out, seeing as it just pops off most of the time for me. You could try get something in between the small gaps at the side of the strum bar though, if you can find something the right size...

i got a problem with my strum that the strumming down doesnt work. I wait a few days then use it again and its working fine but then i play about 2 songs the strum bar messes up and doesnt work then i have to wait a while again for it to work, got any suggestions dude? and btw nice rubber band fixxing :D

I don't think a simple rubber band's gona work, it's probably a problem with the switches inside the guitar. You're probably gona ither have to take it apart yourself using soldering and replacing of switches, or take it to a repair shop =/

it stays, it just vibrates, causing you to miss in violent strum sections like raining blood, war ensemble, fight fire with fire, etc...
