I think your terminology might have confused some people.

Auf Englisch, "hang gliding" is Drachenfliegen.

Hang Gleiten auf Englisch ist "ridge soaring".

Great video, but totally inappropriate music. Gliding is quiet, gentle and serene - this music was not.

Well I don´t agree with that. Often soaring is shown as a quiet and gentle sport, but from my point of view it is a fast and dynamic sport. sure, you got moments when you´re above cloudbase when it´s pure silence. but I like the low and fast way. when you do hang gliding the plane reaches top speed around 300km/h 5m above the ground... where is the silence? don´t wanna argue with you, just say that there are even fast moments in that "slow" sport.

As a 6,000 hours sailplane pilot, over a 45 year period, I feel qualified to make my comments and thankfully, I have not witnessed a hang glider at 300kph and 5mtrs above ground. Seemss like you must be in a hurry to get to the scene of the accident.
