@mrcherry4 let it sit for about half anhour without reving it and then take it for a gentle drive shifting through all the gears after about a day of doing so it will be ready for punishment lol oh and drain and change the oil after a day runs more smoothly fully sinthetic 4 stroke motar oil.

just upgrade ther rims tigher suspension and ya got a mad little rocket for small areas!

Lifan makes some pretty good stuff for what they are , i think its one of the best china made engines out there , i have replaced 2 engines on my honda 3 wheelers and they are going strong , if youre going to buy a honda copy i think Lifan is your best option ...

Yes lifans are reliable. This over heated Lifan went for years after this, we found out that the smoke was due to the angle of the eng for so long going up the hill. Get the Lifan bro, cheers Jono.

constant reving causes an oil pressure build up in those lifan engines..unscrew ur oil cap next time that happens and ul see how much pressure comes out..you can restart it immediately and the smoke will go away even its hot

Check if the crankhouse ventialtion hose on the back of the engine is squeezed between the frame and the rearwheel swing. Mine was like that and it created a overpressure in the crankhouse pushing oil into the cylinder trough valve seals and piston rings. I had to re-route the hose on my bike so that it wouldn't get pinched between the swing and frame.
