Saw Blackfoot and the DJB Band around '81. Both bands rocked it. Hatchett is not Hatchett anymore from the videos I have seen. I don't care if the vocalist is a great guy and was hand picked by Danny Joe. His voice was so distinctive and fit the music so well. Thanks to the original band for creating some great memories.

I partied with danny Joe Brown and dave luhbeck on more than one occassion in Columbus Ohio in the early 80's. They played a nightclub i worked at,and one of our employees was a man named Wild robert West who played bass for a band named Rosie. he was from Florida and Knew Molly Hatchet and introduced me. I rode with dav and Danny Joe toe another bar and the rest of the band showed up all except Bruce Crump the drummer.. Soon as we walked in the bar Danny bought us 2 shots of wild Turkey.

The 'CROSSROADS' band from St Pete Florida will be playing the same place in Pensacola Florida with Molly Hatchet this weekend Oct. 2nd 8-11pm. Got to love Molly Hatchet so many great songs!

saw them twice back in 70's ......and ive seen some killer concerts in my day .seen them all........but I tell ya .....each time I left molly concerts ......seemed I alway left with a whipped ass........thats rock and roll! theres was no better .....

This is from a Brit....so guess you gotta take it with a pinch of salt haha Bought their very first album when it came out (I'm now 53) and thought it was the dogs gonads. No other FL band ever did it for me like Molly Hatchet. RIP DJB. This was the best line up for me. Most lead singers try to keep the spot light for themselves, but not DJB. Mark of the man. Quality!

They had that Southern Rock boogie with roaring guitars.
Great stuff.
And without you Brits - A LOT of Yanks like myself would never had most of favorite bands - BLACK SABBATH - LED ZEPPELIN - MOTORHEAD - and of course THE BEATLES began it all.
Worth much more than a pinch to me

@char675 No - it's former Mother's Finest drummer Billy ("BB") Borden on drums. He only did Hatchet's '83 album and tour. He was with the Marshall Tucker Band the last I knew.
