@ztetnies do you know what triggering does? the drummers that actually do use triggers are not "cheating" if thats what your thinking, i play drums, i do not use triggers, i am decent at double bass i guess but people think..hey if he does double bass really fast he uses triggers..this is a common misconception because the "heal/toe foot tchnique allows you to move the beaters of the pedal very fast, triggers dont even make it faster, they just make it louder and smoother

Punk music is just the same rhythm smoothly throughout the whole song, while metal has breakdowns, which is what separates it from other genres musically.
