@Tweek08 I have a Marantz PMD661 solid state recorder and boom mic, but I had no one to operate it nor do I own a boom stand at the moment. I conduct these interviews all by myself. I do agree the sound could be better if the autogain wasn't there. For what it is worth I did try to clean up the audio with filters.

i totally agree with him about references - they're far better when used in a subtle way, or when used in the right context. it's much funnier than just bursting out one reference after another, making the entire movie's plot merely an excuse and rendering it unoriginal - which is different from Girlchan: that doesn't have a real plot either, but parodies things in an inventive way.
