after a lot of hinting around for some actual live performance stuff,and only finding dj mixes,i was giving up on the idea...but i bumper into this,seirously man, this vid has given me hope,that ppl are trying to do this,
at my last gig,i heard ppl compaing this to a dj set,ad thought it isnt that hot...i could not explain,as DJs use computers too,and thery really dont get it...o well i shouldnt be ranting here...but ure setup is DOPE,and i love the fact that u refain from using dummy clips
I have had many people come up and try to make requests while working with a table full off hardware - many punters just don't know what is going on up the front.
Understandably though; a live act is 'competing' with completed, mastered songs, so people expect that level of performance - i.e. studio grade.
Ableton has further muddied the waters - many people, essentially DJing in Ableton are billed as live as well.
