This is very interesting. Yeah, I thought this movie had the best 3D FX ive ever seen. ITS THE MOST AMAZINGEST MOVIE EVER! And this animation is so accurate, and when the Avatars interact with the human things, it looks exteremley accurate and real. This is the best animation movie ive ever seen! Nice video :)

AVATAR was the best movie I have ever seen!!! Before I saw it, I was a little "iffy" on whether I'd like it or not but it rocked. There were so many scenes that give ya those excitement chills as well as the emotional scenes. I doubt I will EVER see a better movie. This TOPS Transformers!!!

This wasn't the most expensive film ever made. Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End was, with a budget of over 300 million. Avatar came in at just under 240 million.

James Cameron is brilliant, plain and simple. His concept for the movie is simply epic in my opinion. I for one can't wait to see the movie for the plot and to see how well the CGI was done on the big screen. It looks fantastic, and your 411 just made it all the more better and just gave me even more anticipation to go see the movie. :3 Thanks!

I enjoy your videos. I wonder if there will be another Avatar preview for locations not covered? It wasn't near me nor was I available to go. I would expect a 3D trailer in front of a 3D movie soon.

This movie has already changed cinema with so many directors invited to JC's set to see and test the gear. Now they want to use it for their own projects.

This movie doesn't have the mass appeal like Titanic did, but will accomplish far more. This is just the beginning.

then this would change the density of the atmosphere. I think ammonia is lighter then air, I guess being thinner would make objects have less resistance. Anything that flies. Also sound waves would be higher in pitch I believe. So when you hear them talk or hear explosions on Pandora, they would sound different then they do on Earth.

I'm anxious to see what kind of science JC covers in this film. I know it's good story-telling having a paraplegic walk again, but it doesn't make sense.

like the amp suits do, or the machine guns on the helicopters(don't know the name). The incredible energy harnessed at that time would make weapons unbelievable. More sophisticated then what Avatar has in it. And I'd even question the turbines for the helicopters themselves. JC has always had the best hardware in movies. Do they still smoke in this story? I thought I remember MTV mentioned in the treatment. But one other physics related question would be, if the air is ammonia based...

I've watched 3 of your vids on Avatar. Thanks for posting. The best I've seen regarding anything Avatar. I love your enthusiasm for the movie and JC's past work.

I did a quick read of the treatment a long time ago, I don't remember a lot, but right when I read it I remember questioning a few details. This is nitpicking but his movies are so well done that it even brings the level of criticism up.

Don't get me wrong, I'm on board on how awesome this is, but a few things that don't make sense

Actually it wasn't the fusion camera. It was similar. They were testing out a version of it for that movie.

Honestly, you can easily see that the trailer contains work in progress shots. There are times where it looks good but there are other times where it's really average. But because I know much about CG and I can notice clues that truly confirms that the effects are unfinished and not simply poor. In a shot, there's a CG mech that doesn't even have the high resolution textures on, its animation is not refined etc. I also found a lot of articles and comments about this.
