@jmoak14 Recon is short for reconnaissance and that basically means - gather information (in short). That doesn't mean that you need a sniper rifle and sit X amount of meters away. Some Recon do, mhm yeah - but Recon doesn't mean sniper, tardface :P. Spec ops camo + As Val = reconnaissance. Provide nice spawnpoints and Tugs for your squad.

You don't need to change the Firemode. You just need to learn to do it by not holding the fire-button all the time^^ Then you get the advantages from all the firemodes, but not a disadvantage, if you need to change the mode very fast (especially in Console-Versions it needs a long time to change it)

Also, SPOT GODDAMN VEHICLES FOR JETS! I see a lot of people complaining about how jets are just flying around doing nothing, but usually (in my case at least) we look at our radar where enemies are and spam the spot button in that direction so we can see them and shoot them. This usually takes a few passes in which time the other team can get jets in the air which need to be taken care of before we can kill shit on the ground. If ground players spot we can kill a LOT more shit in one round.

The video wasn't bad, but you did forget to mention some things, for example, your acting like spotting is only for yourself at long ranges.NO! its a huge noob mistake to not spot for your teammates, if your an assault, you cant take out a tank, so spot it for an engineer or support, if your an engineer, you can particularly take out someone for 400-500 meters so spot.

Most annoying thing in bf3 as a tanker: When you are solo tanking, and you get out to repair, and someone else on your team (usually a low level noob) gets in the tank and takes it. Its fine if they get in it while im repairing to kill enemies, but when i am done repairing you need to gtfo or be the gunner
