I watched this in the theater with my mom when it came out last year...I remember I chocked up so badly when this (or a variation) played at the ending..And she gives that speech about time. It was a great, touching movie with simply beautiful music. And you did it justice.
Thanks for this. So perfect played. I like yours tempo and gently touch. There is moore on youtube but there is no one close to this performance. Good work.
This is absolutely beautiful. watching this video my eyes fixed on the movement of your fingers as they create such sound soothing to the soul it's masterful!!! Thanks from a small island in Micronesia:)
Do you think if I changed a few notes so I can reach them it would make it crappy? Cuase I'm only 12 and my hands are SMALL and I can't reach it. :( Great job tho :)!!!
This song is so beautiful, you played it even better than the soundtrack :) I'm thinking of playing this at church turning offering this summer sometime. :)
Very nice playing, I like that you skipped the part where the orchestra comes in, the countermelody of the strings can't really be played neatly on the piano.
By the way, what kind of piano is that? It sounds very nice.
@TheSnoozepie - I debated on whether to try playing that part also, but decided against it in the end. ~1968 Knabe 5'8" Grand, nicknamed "squeaky" due to the squeak it makes while pressing the sustain pedal. If you listen closely you can hear it on this song.
@lipnoodle117 - Thanks. That's what I was going for. There are a bunch of good versions here on YouTube, but none that really replicated the movie version.
Beautiful playing, and a beautiful piano (i also have a Knabe! I love it!)
