@xblalex i'd go for the GTX 460 768mb. i had a 6850 and yeah it was fast but...it died on me and i tried calling up AMD and they insisted that it was my fault or it was my computer why it was not working even though i had tried it in 3 different systems and they all said that it's vram is corrupt through the bios beeping code. i have the GTX 460 768mb right now, runs AMAZING. overclocked it to 1GHz and getting hear GTX 480 speeds all on stock cooking. never gets too hot. :D

And I call BS on your whole "GTX 460 runs amazing" crap, because I happen to own one, and I can tell you it runs like shit, and has done every day past the late 250 drivers. What the shitty benchmarks/FRAPS don't show is that games stutter often, screen tearing and frame skipping is off the charts, as well as the card throttling itself and drivers that makes games look like shit for the artificial "performance gain".

That's because the warranty is with his graphics card manufacturer, and what he described was clearly the manufacturer's problem (bad VRAM), not AMD's who merely provide the graphics chip. Nvidia has the complete opposite problem, since their GPUs are failing and even single cards experience issues. Google "GTX 460 stuttering", then do it for any current/last gen AMD card and see which has more problems, dumbass.

Well this is the card I want, thing is Ive got a GTX 260 card in my model which is an HPE-083uk (Elite). I have no experiecnce of replacing graphic cards, so should mine fit in there? And the HDMI dongle... is this something that would attach to my HDMI cable for the monitor? I got this card, very good card. The only thing I would say is if you plan on getting a second card to run in SLI, get the 1Gb version of the card, or hell, even the 2Gb version.

The low vram is a pretty big bottleneck while running 2 of them. I can run Crysis on very high with 16x AA on 1650x1080 fine, but I don't have enough vram for the AA and I get stuttering framerates when the textures need to change.

ALLRIGHT!! now i got a ATI hd4670, and a Q8400, both are overclocked, and gta 4 works like shit... the first 10 minutes of gaming works at 35/40 fps (with a quad at 3,5Ghz O.o) and after the 10 minutes works at 20FPS WTF?!?!?
