  • Great video!

pretty neat to see the ocean aggressor in your vid. My dad was a skiffman on that boat in the 80's and I grew up around it.

  • Great video, shit deal for you guys last year. I work on a punt right now hope to try my hand at seining when I can find a gig.

  • great video thanks for posting I sure miss them days

  • not so much shaking there

  • @NBfishing13 YA, I would not want to be a shaker. rather use the Pump :)

i watched some of the guys shaking , dirty hard work.

  • @hypervanguy lol it all works out when u get the pay tho :):)

  • @hypervanguy I work on a punt. The work is a lot easier that my old mans day hand pulling, and shaking till your arms fall off. Fishing off an american style this year so zero work for me this year. Still just as dirty lol. Cheer see you on the grounds.

  • What a waste.................

  • @bobnala waste of what. Food, oil, jobs for thousands, food for thousands. oh and lets not forget the herring that you use in bait to catch your prized size salmon..... Really what is the waste. 200 tons out of 10,000 tons is pretty good, could be diffrent, could go catch it all, but then what would that leave for us later. and keep the jobs out there. your still catching your fat salmon, so the eating must still be good.

  • Great video. We wondered what it looked like on the business end of this fishery. Now we know. We live right at the tip of Rocky Point in Nanaimo and had a front row seat for the action. Hope it was a successful fishery for you. Thanks for posting.

  • @bluecomet390 it was a successful fishery, we got around 200 tons in our set. i think we set just off of icarus point i belive. glad you enjoyed my video, maby next year we'll be setting out side your house !!

  • @hypervanguy and this video was not about catching a big set, it was a simple film to show the trip from prince rupert to the south coast for the 2010 herring opening.
