Brilliant reaction from Ms Davis as she looks up enjoying the little egyptian boys running along the boat until she realizes they are mooning her. LOL.
All of them are great talents! Angela Lansbury takes after her mother, who was a fine actress. I saw the lady (Moyna MacGill) in "The Clock," a movie bit part where she played a customer at an all-night diner. Her character tried hard, without much success, to ignore the "drunken" ravings of a character played by Keenan Wynn. Her role was entirely silent, yet just by her reactions she made me laugh until tears rolled down my face. Great comic timing! And Angela is a credit to her mother.
"Didn't your mother ever tell you, as far as servants are concerned, there is a vast difference between amiable eccentricities and downright rudeness?"
angela lansbury's role here reminds me of her Mrs Lovett in Sweeney Todd. Slightly crazy. Even the make-up looks similar. It's about the same time she did the musical too - 1978.
Las tres tienen las voces más reconocibles de Hollywood, y son tres de las mejores actrices que ví en mi corta vida. No sabían que podía tener la oportunidad de ver el trío en una sola obra. Increíble. Merci.
Sooooo good!
