  • Seriously? You cannot get your heads out of your asses for 2 seconds & not bitch about every single video on youtube? Yes it is your opinion but when you start just plain trashing it, it is another story. Saying you dislike this video or I like this video, those are opinions. Not THIS IS FUCKING SHIT! I HATE THIS SHIT! I'M COMPLAINING ABOUT A BEER COMMERCIAL AND WRITING IN ALL CAPS CAUSE I HAVE NO LIFE AND LOVE TO HATE! This is my "opinion" on your shitty opinions about what an actual opinion is

  • He hugs his mom, too. Doesn't mean he's gonna have sex with her.

  • If I had a friend coming back from war, God knows I'd do just a bit better than this pisswater.

  • @toransu well we have a joke up here in Canada, American beer is like having sex in a canoe, its fucking close to water.

even though its pisswater its a nice ad, I'm so glad your honorable fighting men and women are coming home, they have been away too long.

  • It's amazing we can't just enjoy a commercial. Every damn youtube video I watch, there's somebody who has a problem with it. And because they have a problem with it, they gotta shove their opinion down everyone's throat rather than just letting the people sit back and enjoy the video.

  • Welcome home soldier ;)

  • why does this require a view to be 21 years or older?

  • @Shallowandpedantic42 because it's a beer commercial

  • @TayJayTKO13 because it's a queer commercial

  • Who says he's gay?

  • @BJKproductions878 Well it's either his brother or boyfriend but I'm going to say its definitely his boyfriend, you don't call your best friend to tell your parents you are coming home or your brother instead of your parents but its a possibility. As a commercial, it defiantly failed to prove otherwise.

  • I LOVE HOW WE ARE SO FUCKING STUPID THAT WE EVEN LET BUDWEISER TAKE CARE OF OUR VETERANS... YOUR RIGHT... ALL THE VETS COMMING BACK WITH PTSD, YOUR SURE AS FUCK THAT THEY WILL BE DRINKIN A LOT OF THIS. THANKS A LOT FOR BEING A TOTAL ASSHOLE AND SPREADING THIS GARBAGE

  • @TheFfffff3 would you rather they made a commercial about a bunch of college students binge drinking and having unprotected sex? Yeah, I thought so. Just enjoy the damn commercial.

  • army people are patriotic...companies who make ads mainly to try to do things to make THEMselves look good p r ..when its for $ is another thingg... they should just make ads saying we payed thousands to prolong injustice, take out competition and keep people unemployed ..

  • Great video, they played this song after the game was over cards rangers game 6. Seems fitting being busch and all lol

  • You people who have problems with those "evil evil corporations", I'm sure you don't own an iPhone. You don't drink bud or coors. You don't wear name brands. You don't have a bank account. You don't use cleaning products. You don't go to the doctor. Or you don't drive a damn car! And if you use any of those things your just supporting those evil corporations! Practice what you spew out of your pie hole you fucking hypocrites!

  • @Zurbachen How about the corporations and government stop exploiting these troops for political and commercial purposes and start giving these troops the help they need. Like I stated before these troops have huge collateral damage in their heads from simply just going to war.

  • He got drunk at that party and got in a car crash killing 7 other people and himself.

  • This is my Favorite commerical...

  • in the second commercial they're drinking budweiser at his funeral because he shot himself. Thanks U.S military for not providing adequate mental health care!

  • @1corgan I couldn't have said it better.

  • How do you all know it isn't a childhood friend? all of you who ASSume he is gay are freggin ignorant!

  • who says it isn't his brother?! or a former brother in arms?! And even IF they are gay, what's the difference?!?! They are human, you know?! People made from flesh and blood. And in this ad; so, he's a soldier. You do realise that he risked his life for you!?! Gay or not, that's quite an offer for you, and your country. He's done more than most would do; prepared to give his life! Have some respect for your brothers, sisters, colored or not!!

  • You guys do realize Budweiser is not an American company anymore right?

  • More like Bud saying thanks. I wish all commercials on TV were this good.

  • kill this gay

  • Thank you, Dan Auerbach

    "Keep It Hid"

  • First, Thank You to all the Heroes for keeping America safe. Thank you Budweiser for acknowledging our American Heroes. We must see beyond the commercial...

  • One of the finest commercials and tributes to bless the airwaves of the land of the red, white and blue.

The land of the free because of the brave.

  • 27 people hate America.

And The Black Keys (Dan Auerbach) >> *

  • I never seen someone come back from the desert with no rank on their uniform. Just saying.......

  • @gadzoda They used to do it...especially in high risk areas, to prevent the enemy from knowing if any high ranking officers left on a certain flight. I know the army has those velcro patches that they can take off and put back on.

  • @gadzoda

You might also notice he doesn't have a name on his uniform.

    This is for security reasons.

Anytime a soldier is being filmed in uniform for tv, rank is removed as well as their name.

  • @XmeXbXqt you're a fuckin moron. no usarmy and no rank on his uniform because the military can't be apart of any commercial advertisement. if u are a veteran, you're a fucking moron for not knowing this. budweiser, is exploiting the shit out of the war and you're all a bunch of fags. but it's cool, when i got home from the desert the first beer i had at the airport was a heineken. that shit was delicious after 4 months without alcohol.

  • Great video

  • those 27 people who disliked hate america

  • I can understand why you would call Budweiser pissweiser. But when you start talking about our troops "killing and raping innocent women and children", that's when the line needs to be drawn. Who are you to accuse them of that? It infuriates me when i come across comments like yours. Just because of their sacrifices, your ungrateful and overly liberal ass is able to do whatever it is you do.

  • that guy in the commercial if one of my good friends...

  • I love this commercial. It shows how we feel when our friends and family return from fighting for us.

  • @carimcclure7 How are they fighting for us? We were never threatened by any of the countries we invaded in the past 100 years. They are fighting for themselves. They are fighting for a new house and a new car. I really have a hard time believing that anyone joins the US military to save the US from the world it picks on. I know people do buy into that ideal but it is almost impossible for me to understand how anyone can still fall for it.

I just can not grasp that level of ignorance.

  • @LastCynicStanding

It's sad that you would call what many see as patriotism as ignorance. Just because you can not grasp the ideal of something bigger than yourself as a calling in life, doesn't make it wrong to those that choose it. And the new house and new car thing is beyond a lot of young military men and women's means early into their careers. And as for never being threatened by ANY of the countries we have invaded, look up what happened on December 7th, 1941.

  • @dannyaf55 Pearl Harbor was a response. This is the international view anyhow. I will agree that at that point everyone had to fight.

I certainly can grasp the concept of self sacrifice for a greater cause. Nothing here is beyond my comprehension. This is just playing on your sensibilities. It is nothing but shameless advertising.

Don't think I judge anyone for the choices they make just because I call this crap for what it is.

  • The song is Dan Auerbach - Goin' Home

  • It's nice that Budweiser uses beer to celebrate the military and shameleslly wrap themselves in the American flag. I also think its pretty funny that these guys look obviously homosexual (or maybe normal guys just lay in bed and stare at the ceiling thinking about cleaning and catering a coming home party) , so they are appealing heavily two two different groups that dont necessarily care to much for one another without each other knowing about it. Clever

  • SONG?????D:<

  • the dude is his buddy, the girl his gf then his family, damn people look into things to much and wana debate shit.

  • 11kummer EVERYTIME

  • @MarcusFenix97 HOO MUTHAFUCKIN RAHH

  • Love the theme and the message behind this commercial. But who ever is singing ruins this song.

  • I dont see how this could be offending ab is giving money to help support our troups and vets. So what if they made a commercial with a soilder in it they are honoring him and his service this happens alot. I dont see miller or coors doing anything to support our troups!

  • awww¡¡ they could have kissed.... coz they are obviously boyfriend and boyfriend...

  • Dig the commercial, but I am not sure about the slogan "Proudly serving those who serve", what about the 19 year old that returns home from war that can not legally drink? Will you still serve him because he serves? Yet another reason the drinking age should be 18...

  • @AdvancedGentleman

Who said he was 21? ; ) I'll gladly buy a drink...or several dozen, for my battle buddies coming home.

  • @Tra1n3rfromH3ll I am not talking about this guy in the commercial. My point is that Budweiser can not legally "proudly serve those who serve" when some of the soldiers returning are under 21. If you can vote and fight for your country you should be able to buy a beer.

  • @AdvancedGentleman Most of the laws in this country are screwed up, does anyone really follow the law anyway

  • this commercial makes me sick, how dare budweiser exploit such a joyous and beautiful occasion to sell booze?

  • Comment removed

  • this brings me to tears every time i watch this. I just graduated, and i leave for bootcamp in one month.

  • @DieselT74 Good luck! Stay Safe!

  • @DieselT74 good luck private!

  • @DieselT74 You'll be the first one on your block to come home in a box.

  • THE SONG IS BY DAN AUERBACH (OF THE BLACK KEYS) CALLED "GOIN' HOME".

  • What is the song name?

  • I thought the UCMJ had some pretty strict regulations regarding use of the uniform to promote politics, or commercial products. I'm a vet, and I don't like the way Budweiser is exploiting the uniform. And, yeah, Budweiser? It isn't even American owned anymore. It's Belgium owned. This commercial pulls at the heart strings, and I'm gonna get my teeth kicked for saying this, but this is crap, and its being used to sell alcohol. If you care about the vet, volunteer, get involved with VA.

  • @supersparkchaser you wouldnt think its american owned with a name like budweiser

  • its been to long ! =(

  • great commercial

  • idapryor, The singer is Dan Auerbach.

  • is it wrong if this almost made me cry

  • Who sings this? Where is the full song by this person?

  • Does anyone know where they can get lights like that?

  • @YouOnlyDeleted judging by your lack of creativity in your insults and worthless comments along with your comment history your just a troll who offends no one. oh how your parents must be proud of their little boy because its obvious that your age equals the amount of characters in my user name

  • @plafonte How's this for creativity:

The only thing that could have made this commercial better was if you and your parents were in the barn (all naked in wheelchairs), and a few vans full of black gang members showed up and opened fire on the barn (with only the finest Israeli made automatic weapons), set the barn ablaze, and drove off blasting the song Devil Went Down to Georga by Charlie Daniels.

  • @YouOnlyDeleted LOL you wanna see 2 naked guys and a naked old lady? LOL wow i can't even take you seriously after that

  • does anyone else get the chills when he takes off his hat as the door opens?

  • @11kummer No, just you, gaylord.

  • @11kummer I like seeing the first woman maybe his sister or GF hugging him and you can see the tear down her cheek.

  • @11kummer no not really because he is surprised

  • @11kummer No it makes me want to puke. I'm sick of all of this "thank you for your service" bull. All of these troops will commit suicide because they don't get the help they really need and all of you fake patriots think these guys are fighting for our freedoms when they're being used and deceived for the profit of the military industrial complex. Wake up! Stop being a schmuck!

  • @ciccone39 ok:P

  • Such a great commercial. And the guys face makes the spot. Good stuff

  • The army recruits people under 21! Bud light and dos equis have better commercials!!!!!!

  • So real, and emotional. I get a tear in my eye every time I see this video. It's tough on families having someone in the military. Thank you soldiers!

  • @Zaphador The woman hugging him with a tear on her eye says it all. Its sad when a family member leaves home under those circumsatnces.

  • the song is goin home by Dan Auerbach

  • @Fatshead, I'm from a military family, and my grandfather, a former navy vet, worked for the VA for years. I just don't see how this is offensive, I just want to know how it is. Not trying to start anything, just curious. I just don't see what this ad has to do with undiagnosed PTSD.

  • Just watched the commercial during the nba finals. Fantastic ad!

  • so whats the fuckin song?

  • @79msprkr Dan Auerbach - Goin' Home

  • @yourfaultpoops yeah ima idiot, i didnt scroll down enough :)

  • Here are the stats:18 vets of Iraq/Afghanistan have been dying from suicide and 1000 attempted, on avg., PER DAY, from undiagnosed PTSD, this according to a Federal Appeals Court Judge's ruling last week. The avg. wait time to see a Dr.of 4 months was also declared UNCONSTITUTIONAL. As an ex USMCR with friends from 'Nam, WW2 etc., I find this ad shockingly offensive! The 2 judges who ruled against the VA, however, have never made me prouder to be an American! Happy Memorial Day.

  • what is this song called?

  • This is an awesome commercial! Cheers Bud! And cheers to all the families, friends and servicemen & women proudly serving our country! Cheers!!!!!

  • Dan Auerbach, ftw!

  • Thank you Budweiser for supporting the troops and introducing us to Dan Auerbach's great song "goin home". Your commercials warm the hearts of millions more than the few who have nothing better to do than condemn. Keep giving hope to those who have loved ones fighting for our freedom.

  • thx for this commercial

  • Am I a whimp if this makes me cry?

  • @shiafreak32 hell no

  • how can you dislike this commercial? 23 people must be commies

  • This is easily one of the best commercials I've ever seen.

  • awesome commercial

  • that kid risked his life and the best they could do is budweiser?

  • @ToggafReggin69 I agree man, a Budweiser, are you kidding? I mean, who cares if Budweiser just kicked off a campaign to raise several million dollars for our troops? Ridiculous; I'd rather have a beer that was cool and chic and made damn sure not to support the troops in any way. With you 100%

  • @ToggafReggin69 bud is as american as it gets. i'd be pissed if i got home and they handed me a fucking heineken.

  • @TheStuHull naww du he be needin to drink colt 45 sum guudd shit

  • @TheStuHull Need your self a PBR brother

  • @ToggafReggin69 risks his life killing and raping innocent women and children who live in ghettos in third world countries so that people the world over can enjoy a can of pissweiser with popcorns while watching reality TV on their comfy sofa. some fucking propaganda. GTFO pissweiser

  • @ToggafReggin69

he gets to come home and see his family and friends

i mean come on it's not just beer

    it's a good commercial

  • This is a great commercial. Makes you feel really good:)

  • Dan Auerbach, "Goin' Home"....thanks to my wife, who remembered it from Up in the Air.

  • this is a great commerical, but i hate how the drinking age is 21, its like lets say that the soilder got got hurt and came home at 19 or 20, he cant have a beer when he comes back, thats horseshit. btw thank you troops for saving my ass!

  • I also like to know the song that is played in background.

  • please someone tell me the name of this awesome song? :D

  • Answered it for myself. Thought it sounded like Dan Auerbach. Continue arguing.

  • dude awesome commercial.

  • Can you fucks stop arguing and tell me who sings the awesome song in the background?

  • It's really gross that budweiser made this commercial and exploited such a beautiful thing to sell beer. But it is beautiful.

  • One of the great things about this commercial is that its so ambiguous. One does not know if they are lovers, brothers, friends or all of the above! lol

  • This never gets old....don't forget Armed Forces day this Sat. the 21st!

  • thank you to all who have fought, ill be backing you up shortly. im 15

  • @123OGMUDBONE Awesome commitment! We need more like you!

  • Reminds me of when my dad came home. Such an emotional feeling..

    Welcome home vets.

  • When I see this, as specially the part he hugs his brother..

  • I think this is unethical advertising. If Budweiser donated a thousand kegs to troops, it'd be fine. But they're just using an emotional and personal moment and trying to associate their product with it. I'm in advertising and know this is part of the field, but there's a limit to what we do. Budweiser isn't serving those who serve, the soldiers family is.

  • @kaidoctor Budweiser is actually donating $.05 for every case sold from 5/26-7/10 (about 1.5 million dollars) & also donates $100 for every Home Run hit in 2011 MLB to Fold of Honor. It is a foundation that provides scholarships to families of fallen/disabled soliders.

  • @Kford1973 i didn't know that, they should have put it in the commercial haha

  • @kaidoctor shut the fuck up, seriously. They're letting people know they care about the Troops. Is that so bad all of a sudden? They could have done a much worse advertisement...

  • My brother came home in a box..

  • @LOONEY8581 and so have 2 of my brothers, 2 of my uncles, and I still served. Why... one word... freedom.

  • Comment removed

  • No one really knows and it hardly matters; our troops deserve a warm 'welcome home' no matter their sexual orientation. What's truly sad is that this is considered an "age-restricted video." It's almost ironic, because most young children wouldn't jump to such critical conclusions, only the adults would. Hopefully it's only age restricted because it's promoting an alcoholic beverage...

  • Wow ppl are making such a big deal over this commercial... It's a commercial get over it

  • From the perspective of a college student in southern california, I do not see why there would be any notion of homo sexuality in this video. Have you not ever had a brother that was just like your best friend? If it wasn't his brother, then maybe their relationship was fraternal? I'm sure that if Budweiser wanted to make a statement that depicted the unbridled happiness of coming home from war in the eyes of a gay couple, it would actually make them show physical signs of affection, i.e. a kiss

  • I honestly shed a tear watching this, and I'm a 20-year-old dude.

  • HOOAH!!!! It Feels Awesome To See Ur Family And Friends After Being Deployed!!! Great Commercial!!!

  • what a manipulative bull shit commercial.

Budweiser doesn't give a shit about the troops, they just want to sell more beer.

  • This commercial is great.!

Brings a tear to my eyes.

  • What a great commercial. Whether they are lovers, brothers, friends, etc., this ad projects love, family and appreciation for a soldier. These are emotions that we all as human beings (gay, straight or otherwise) should show more of to our fellow man.

    Cheers to Budweiser!!!

    Irishman

  • Proudly serving those who serve..... unless you're under 21!

unlucky america thats some tough shit its 18 for the Uk and 16 for beers and wines in germany, 18 for spirits and vodka

  • If your calling this commercial gay, Then you should be shipped out to Afghanistan, and be placed in the middle of a battle. Live through what they live through for 1 day. While they are there for over 6 months, And when they get home, of course they're gonna hug their brothers..

  • Can y'all just support our troops, damn. Quit dissecting everything and have some damn pride, geez.

  • They're brothers... No doubt. My big bro is currently in a shithole of a COP in eastern Afghanistan somewhere, and trust me, when he gets home, he's getting a big hug and an ice-cold beer. I get this commercial 100%.

  • This is a really great commercial....lol i cried watchin it

  • I dont matter what brand of beer it is as long as they come home

  • Dan Auerbach - Goin' Home

  • who sings the song

  • Who cares. Good commercial. Middle America represented as they are. Get over it. Support the troops.

  • its going home by dan auerbach, but you may know him as THE SINGER FOR THE BLACK KEYS

  • War propaganda.

  • It's more bromance-y than anything else.

  • Man, I would have hated if my family had shoved Budweiser at me when I got back from Iraq.

  • @LafinJack why would you hate Budweiser? would there be a beer you wouldn't hate, but embrace, and why?

  • @mrmekone I don't like any beer, but even if you like Budweiser, it's just a bad unthoughtful choice if you're celebrating something like getting back from a deployment

  • Comment removed

  • Wait...that's an actual soldier? He did a great job.

  • 0:42. Priceless. I'm going to look for that one when my friend comes home :)

  • If I returned from war and my brother greeted me with a filthy Belgium owned beer I would stab him in the face.

  • gotta love the Ken Griffey Jr. Baseball home run celebration sound clip they use at the end, sad that i know that but its true
