@Nappaj Depends how you look at it really, you can change the value of the slow motion manually, or you could even make the clip really small, like, trim it and then change the motion of that clip. I recommend you get sony vegas or even camtasia

If you don't have the speed option available, then you have to download the next version of movie maker, WINDOWS ESSENTIALS, that's the solution guys...

For people that can't do it, after you've installed Windows Live Movie Maker. Click a clip, and once it is selected click "Edit" at the top bar (to the left of "Options" and to the right of "View"). Then there is speed, the default it 1x. 0.5x is slow motion, and 2.0x is sped up twice the speed. Or you cam type in any number you want, for example 10x.

@TheSuperk25 What usually happens is you download the Windows Live Essentials Beta update thing, install it and your cp should restart. After that, it should be on Movie Maker but it will also change the names of the programs. Maybe muck around with the install?

@peachyindetroit By the looks of things you can only install everything. When you do that, you get the slow motion. I think the only bad thing about it is the messenger change. Its faster, but I don't like it.

@allkbob Bob, you need to download the Windows Live Essentials thing before it works. After this is downloaded, installed and finished you are required to restart your computer, resulting in the updates to finalize.

@MurRayzors I'm not too sure. When you download Essentials and begin the installation, I think it lets you decide what parts of the package you would like to install but I can't remember very well. I did everything, and I quite like it except for the new Windows Messenger.
