u so should try boots mousse foundation!! i love it. ive been using it for a week and its amazing. it lasts and it doesnt break me out. a lil goes a long way and it doesnt feel as if u r wearing anything. :) ive tried so many foundations and powders that will work for my oily and sensitive skin and this is so far the best ive tried!!

Bad acne but finally I bought this Cosmecine and its a oile control lotion you put it on before your primer and I kid not it Works! I had bough milk of magnesia and put it on myself in the morning before my foundation.... Oh My GOD!!!!! This not only works as a foundation primer, but also to treat acne I use it on my face as a mask almost every night:) I haven't tried it as a primer but you could be helping your skin clear up all day underneath your makeup:)

I apply milk of magnesia, i pat a small amount over my face, and then i put my revlon colorstay foundation, but it literally looks like someone to deluxe bedroom wall paint and literally painted it on my face. why does it look like that?
Milk of Magnesia really, really, really WORKS!! I've been using it for almost a week now. First moisturizer/sunscreen then MoM, then my primer (Monistat) and when I tell you that I have had no oilies, I mean it.
No blotting, no shine, nothing. Just amazing. I wish I'd known about this years ago! Now I am really looking forward to Summer weather.

@GeorgiaRae12345 Look as hard as you can for the regular Milk of Magnesia. The mint contains, of course, mint, and I'm not at all sure of how well it will work.
At worst, it will work, BUT you'll just smell minty. :)

Great tutorial...i came across Sally H foundation of all places at the Dollar Store, they must have been getting rid of odd shades, and it was end of summer so i was very olive-dark...the s*it works...its great..now i am going to try the MOMag trick, i know i have so other stomache stuff Kayopectate...but i dont think i will try it lol.. your reviews are great :>)

@vintagecar6 Be sure not to apply too much. What I do is when I shake up the bottle, I unscrew the cap and only use whatever residue is inside (stuck) in there. This can keep you from applying to much.
Also, you should follow the MoM with a primer (check out the videos here for the Monistat Anti-Chafing Powder Gel). That is the single BEST primer I've ever used in my life! And I've tried them all. And always start off with a moisturizer/sunscreen followed by MoM, then the primer. :)

I used a product on my face Im wishing now I'd never used! It was called Nadinola fade cream. I had a few little spots from breaking out that were dark so I bought this thinking it would help & ended up putting it all over my face for a " more even skin tone"...so I thought. I now have various splotches all over my face that makeup doesn't even cover. I have a darkened area where a mustache would be, which is very embarrassing. Have been looking for a way to get rid of this whole mess w/out

I also looked up hyperpigmentation because that is more what it looks like I have, which I guess the product I used, Nadinola, did to me. I'm hoping to try Meladerm soon :). I am at my wits end & was fixing to try to find away to pay for a chemical peel or do some kinda lazer, even though I really can't afford either of those. I have the same skin tone as yours but if I use the Sally Foundation, will I get an orangy look because sometimes, liquid foundation kind of gives me an orange fake look... I guess it depends on the quality of my makeup.

I wanted to reccomend an amazing exfoiliating scrub to you as well..I have tried SOOO many things on my face and it takes a lot to impress me anymore in the realm of makeup/skin care..But it is called Burts Bee's peach willowbark deep pore scrub. It leaves your skin SOOO soft. Along with a toner and BP my skin cleared up in about 2 days using it after a breakout. I break out SO easy and my workout routine can really make it worse. But my skin has never looked better!
I sat through it...lol I actually learned a lot and made my husband pick up milk of magnesia on his way home from work! I actually put it on before bed...which i dont know if it is a good idea. But I noticed IMMEDIATELY my pores were almost invisible! My skin felt tighter *not stiff, but clean and young. I also am about to get the neutrogena stress gel. I have used benzoyl peroxide for years...and I love it, but I like the idea of the salicylic acid together, makes sense!

I just started getting acne and I'm a sophmore in college, I went all through high school with perfect skin and it's been really hard for me since have very sensitive skin and am allergic to most acne medications (especially benzyl peroxide...like I got blisters from the things my doctor prescribed me!). Great tutorial...i came across Sally H foundation of all places at the Dollar Store, they must have been getting rid of odd shades, and it was end of summer so i was very olive-dark...the s*it works...its great..now i am going to try the MOMag trick, i know i have so other stomache stuff Kayopectate...but i dont think i will try it lol.. your reviews are great :>)

i put on the milk of mag. then my revoln colorstay and i have a very oilt T zone...but afterwards my face wasnt smooth, it was patchy :/ any tips or help from anyone?? xox

@vintagecar6 Sounds like you are applying waaay to much. Apply only a tiny baby pea sized amount to your whole face.

@vintagecar6 Be sure not to apply too much. What I do is when I shake up the bottle, I unscrew the cap and only use whatever residue is inside (stuck) in there. This can keep you from applying to much.
Also, you should follow the MoM with a primer (check out the videos here for the Monistat Anti-Chafing Powder Gel). That is the single BEST primer I've ever used in my life! And I've tried them all. And always start off with a moisturizer/sunscreen followed by MoM, then the primer. :)

I laughed at ''I am not the only crazy person to admit to putting this stuff on my face'' :) I have a thyroid and hormonal issues and have been on hormone replacement therapy. I have used so much stuff on my face to control the oiliness on my skin and acne. I used a product on my face Im wishing now I'd never used! It was called Nadinola fade cream. I had a few little spots from breaking out that were dark so I bought this thinking it would help & ended up putting it all over my face for a " more even skin tone"...so I thought. I now have various splotches all over my face that makeup doesn't even cover. I have a darkened area where a mustache would be, which is very embarrassing. Have been looking for a way to get rid of this whole mess w/out

@3146973 Thank you so much! I googled both of them & the meladerm sounds more promising. I also looked up hyperpigmentation because that is more what it looks like I have, which I guess the product I used, Nadinola, did to me. I'm hoping to try Meladerm soon :). I am at my wits end & was fixing to try to find away to pay for a chemical peel or do some kinda lazer, even though I really can't afford either of those. I pray if I try this new product, that it works! Again Thank You!

I have the same skin tone as yours but if I use the Sally Foundation, will I get an orangy look because sometimes, liquid foundation kind of gives me an orange fake look... I guess it depends on the quality of my makeup.

I wanted to reccomend an amazing exfoiliating scrub to you as well..I have tried SOOO many things on my face and it takes a lot to impress me anymore in the realm of makeup/skin care..But it is called Burts Bee's peach willowbark deep pore scrub. It leaves your skin SOOO soft. Along with a toner and BP my skin cleared up in about 2 days using it after a breakout. I break out SO easy and my workout routine can really make it worse. But my skin has never looked better!

I sat through it...lol I actually learned a lot and made my husband pick up milk of magnesia on his way home from work! I actually put it on before bed...which i dont know if it is a good idea. But I noticed IMMEDIATELY my pores were almost invisible! My skin felt tighter *not stiff, but clean and young. I also am about to get the neutrogena stress gel. I have used benzoyl peroxide for years...and I love it, but I like the idea of the salicylic acid together, makes sense!

OMG thank you so much im going to try milk of magnesia, I have very oily and senative skin. i get oil especially on my nose and cheeks so i just dont put foudation and powder on my nose cause i know it will rub off and clog my pores the only question that i have is does the magnesia make youre skin break out and smell funny?

I just started getting acne and I'm a sophmore in college, I went all through high school with perfect skin and it's been really hard for me since have very sensitive skin and am allergic to most acne medications (especially benzyl peroxide...like I got blisters from the things my doctor prescribed me!).
