I love tool a wicked lot but i would want a little bit more creativity on stage for Danny Carrey cuz he pretty much plays the same thing as in the recorded version and this goes for everything. He's still a a wicked sick drummer and is also very creative i just want a little more in live performance.
I love how this song can apply to so many situations (as many of Maynard's lyrics do). It's not just about the military but also could be about a relationship or a man v. society kinda thing.
It's actually in the oath one has to take when being sworn-in to be a soldier. "I will not lie, cheat, steal, or tolerate those who do....". Also, Maynard was never actually "in the military". He only attended West Point.
Thank FUCK for jewtube, otherwise none if not most of us who were not there and to see Maynard dance like he use too, get to see it every time we want to now.

Don't be a twat. I know maynard is a military man trained in gracie styled fighting, so it seemd ironic that he would say that... I was talking to the viewers other than myself, to see what was up about those comments.
I've always thought, "I've been far too sympathetic" immediately before acting out!

That's why Tool have never included liner-notes in their albums.
