Sounds like a combination of the AY and SID versions - the Spectrum version had a beeper tune with OK graphics/gameplay. The Amstrad CPC version had a kick-ass tune with the AY chip, but the graphics didn't make use of the CPC's potential, and the gameplay was a slow shit bomb. The C64 version was the ideal blend of sound, visuals and gameplay. Good cover :)
There's something about 8bit that just makes you happy.

Nice to see that other people use MPT. Great job, I'd love to be able to make old-school-sounding stuff like this.

@SPeacock Update: The Amiga version is the best one :)

Sweet, one of the greatest AY-CPC song...
Of course your version is better...the AY was quite a rustic soundchip, with only 3 channels and limited sound textures.
Yet it could be great when well handled.
Also you should credit the actual author of the tune : Ben Daglish.

Also, you should cherish pattern number 4 because it is a great harmonic bridge in popular music.

Reminds me of what you'd hear twenty-odd years ago emanating from a Commodore 64...:-)

I really like that kind of sound, so I knew it would be a good idea to make it that way.

I like it, good work, I used to love Noisetracker on the Miggy, did a few Modules, only 4 tracks to play with, great fun
Doubleringer 2 years ago
I'm not sure what a "miggy" is (I'm guessing it's a nickname for the Amiga), mod plug tracker will always be the one or me.
