Dave Scott and I wrote this song about the guy who shot Wild Bill in the back. The instrumental bridge was originally written for a movie soundtrack that was never made. The only cowboy themed song I've ever written. This one pretty much said it all, I guess. Produced by the great Moe Whittemore at 700 West, with input from our friend Mike Griffin ,who "played" the authentic revolver in the studio. Dan Modlin
