  • it's not a "cheezy jazz classic" your playing is cheezy!

  • How so? You can't just say that and go away. Tell me more.

  • That's really well done. I like that way you played that. Is that a fretless bass? It's hard to tell because the video is a little dark.

  • Nop it's a regular warwick streamer!

  • Men:

    You got talent.

Your bass lines are sweet in the ear.

Can you do bass lines of Everybody Dance by Chi.

I will love to see what you can do with that.

    Best of luck.

  • Good ear, to pick out all that's happening in this classic Bill Withers' number!

  • Dude love what you've done with it. Keep up the good work. You've got talent.

  • very nice .....wish i could play like that.. hehe

  • great work , you played it wonderful .. well done!

  • this is crazy!!!!!

  • hehe thanks !

  • that kinda sounded like 'sienfeld' was starting with the bass at the end nice fingerwork my friend

  • Thx for the comment!

  • lol i don't usually watch these things (got here by accident) but seriously this was cool.

  • 5/5 "awesome"

  • Thanks.

  • kk will do.

  • dude that slap bass ending was raw as hell!

  • Hehe glad you liked it!

  • real talk you a nice as hell. you can play in my hood anyday.

  • interesting and good.

i really don't know much about bass

    guitar work.

    i liked your plalying.

    cool

  • Pretty sick bro, funky as week old cheese at the end. You just motivated me to pick up that bass and work on my slapping.

  • Nice man! Now that is a really nice comment.

Slapping is not as hard as it seems! You just gotta start slowly, practice, practice, practice, practice, practice, practice....

  • Not meant to be a funk song but i think a different arrangement and something like your slap part would make a sweet funk cover. nice job brotha man

  • Thx for the comment dude

  • i looked and said what the fuck?

this is actually really good. made the song better

  • Hehe thanks, was fun to play that slap part

  • One of the best bass lines I ever heard in a music. And a great fan cover. This tune remembers me Jamiroquai (Stewart Zender, I think). Cheers from Brazil.

  • You like the slap at the end or the rest of the song ?

And for jamiroquai, I can see what you mean but i don't agree with you. Bass in jamiroquai is more dynamic. I don't know if you saw, but my bass guitar is the exact same as Stuart Zender. He's on eof my favorite bassists.

Anyway thanks for the nice comment!

  • Very nice man! 5 stars 4 U!

btw I'm trying 2 find the original copy of the song. Can you upload or something on here please?

  • Hum honnestly I recorded while listening on a track I found on youtube, my video is a response to that one, you might find what you're looking for there !

  • I thought very little could be added to this beautiful song but I was wrong.. thank you!!

  • great performance and song choice!

  • Thanks, very ncie from you!

  • You got talent there man.. that was awsome to listen to as you had good feel for the song. Great song and tight performance dude.

  • Thanks for the nice comment =)

  • nice, what bass is that? it looks like a warwick to me, it has a long-ass neck like one

  • Yeah man you saw well, it's a 1996 Streamer Stage 1, an swesome bas sI must say. But the strings were dead on this video : /

  • Great music and marvelous performance, bububuvard! Lots of great musicians we don't know. What a plesure hearing you playing! Congratulations!

  • Thanks for the nice comment sir =)

  • great slap at the end

  • Thanks bud! Much appreciated. Sad that my strings were dead but it's not that bad anyway.

  • Awesome dude!!!! Pleeeease tune your ax!!!! Not for my sake. Great performance man ;)

  • lol thanks man! but what do you mean tune your ax??

  • You are welcome. You are talented, well-practiced, and have a great left-hand and right-hand form and technique. So my comment is to say your D string sounds flat. But of course you apologized for your "sketchiness" already. Again, good job :) Keep playing! I hope I have as good hand-technique as you one day.

    Best,

    Lucien

  • Thanks man that is a really nice comment. and you couldn't be more right about the strings, they were already dead on this video. I changed em last month, bought some elixir. Great sound now! ANd i'm planning on buying a 6 strings soon hehe

  • tres bon cover! j'adore ton tone! laches pas!

  • Merci bien! C'est une bonne petite chanson pour se réchauffer et faire un peu d'impro. Je suis resté relax sur ce vidéo, je connais pas la toune tant que ça :P
