@rcf156830 120?? We work the field around 150-160!! LOL You should check out some of my latest videos I have posted this summer, I think you really like them. Have a great day and be safe!!
@rcf156830 Oh hell, my mistake, you meant 120 in the timeline....yea that was a pretty good shot. I just caught what you were talking about as I hit sent button on my last post. LOL Have a good one!!
@rvpe You saw some of the best flying there is around here. Eastern NC is littered with power lines, small, unsquare fields, houses, grain elevators, field mills, etc.....the list goes on and on. Y'all be careful down there in Equador, don't get yourselves hurt. :)
@monboy10, The spray you saw in this video on upclose shots were with water, pressure testing the on board pumps. Ag chemicals are a good thing as they protect crops from damaging weeds, pests, fungus, and this video, worms eating away at soybean crops. Ag aviation is the most efficient way of applying crop producing catalysts to farms around the country. Thanks for watching and stay tuned for more this summer.
@FlyinTruckr thanks for letting me know it was only water. i understand fully what the chemicals do because i have lived on a farm my whole life. however i don't agree that Ag aviation is always the most efficient way of spraying crops, it might be some times but i have only seen 1 ever and that was when i left saskatchewan on a trip. so here it's not the most efficient way.
@monboy10 Well I guess we have a difference in opinion. One airplane can knock out 2,500 acres on a decent day. Ground rig, not so much. Around here in NC, typically and commonly you can have some really wet soil conditions that won't allow for a ground rig to run through a field without risking the crop's yield. Also, during hurricane season, the damaging winds can twist up crops in the row in such a manner ground rigs will damage plants. Not to mention all the rain associated.
@froggpond1 ...Im glad you enjoyed it. If you are ever around, Im sure we can get you a ride. I've really enjoyed your videos as well. Catch you later.
