I agree with your comments and it's so refreshing to see the kata done with the application of the bunkai cleary evident. Often times when kata is done, the essence or the evidence of the bunkai is totally lost. He reminds me of Kanazawa Sensei in that you know he has passed the stage of "mirror" kata.

The whip like relaxed movements are clear in this kata which is contrary to the traditional shotokan kime.
