Genial. Sentimiento puro. El alma en la música. Magníficos todos. Voces maravillosas, saxo, batería, guitarra... Emociona escuchar a esta gente hacer música así.
There are many many Black singers out there who have the range. Unfortunately they are more focused on making money so they sing Hip-Hop crape. Also, the churches are full of Black singers with this range but you will never hear them in the main stream. I am Black, and my opinion is they have sold out their heritage. I'm glad to see these two pick up the slack. However, let's always give honor where the music came from...the Black community.
@cjfl1962@cjfl1962 It is so retarded when I hear people say that "give honor where the music came from". I'm assuming you speak english, are you giving honor? I'm assusming you wear regular clothes instead of a loin cloth, are you giving honor? I'm assuming you no longer hunt for your food? Just where exactly are you giving this ridiculous honor too? What does it always have to turn ito a black thing? Are you so insecure that you have to always be recognized? What the hell!
@cjfl1962 Get over it! Marvin was a talented man. These are talented people. My response was to someone who said tey need a black voice, clearly they do just fine without one!
@luvemliam your point being?? The fact that they are singing SOUL music is proof enough that black people do not need to compete with them. Because soul music was first INSPIRED by BLACK AMERICANS. Key word INSPIRED! Now, if white people can sing like them, than you have something. The same with opera. Check out Leontyne Price and Kathleen Battle....also, check out Aretha Franklin when she stood in for Pavarotti--remember, Fraklin never had any classical training.
@luvemliam ALSO, the fact of the matter is that these two can sing, but they are not singing in their natural voice, it's FALSE Falsetto. The same thing that Justin Timberlake does when he sings "SOUL" music. Compared to ROBIN THICKE, who sings from the soul than we have something. Don't let your ears device you just because they are singing soul, this is a false Falsetto and if you know music you can hear it, unless you are tone deaf. But, I do like the music nonetheless.
@majin32547 false falsetto? now you are reaching. Falsetto means false voice...you make up a bunch of crap, make ridiculous comparisons like Aretha and Pavoarotti, and then end it with "but I do like the music"? What planet are you from...or did you just type to watch your fingers move. Don't jump into a conversation without looking back and seeing how far back the conversation went. Clearly you are missing alot of info...
@luvemliam First of all you made the comparison that these two can quote "There are many black singers now who have no where near the range of these two blue eyed ones!" I say true...
Now I repeat the comparison that Leontyne Price & Kathleen Battle have a range that many white opera singers can not compete with. Also true.
