As far as reasons go, slaves were cheap labour, merely imported from Africa, the skin colour played a part too.
But if we're going by facts, more black people commit crimes than white people. But they'll blame the justice system, i'll blame bad upbringing.
how the country started is history anyway, not whites fault that the only postive blacks are MLK and Malcom X.
