4.25 ; how can anyone call him a douche? That was so honest and modest and adorable. And John Mayer, i think you're the only one whos good enough. Infact, 20 years from now you're going to be remembered as a legend. <3
I don't understand why he's seen as a douche. He has incredible talent, and yeah, he probably knows it, but he is humble when he needs to be. Not singing human nature was a good decision. He knows what his limits are.
i understand what he means by not shredding or playing crazy guitar when recording. not that i've recorded anything, but when i'm at home and it's just me playing, i don't really go crazy as opposed to when i've been on stage.
not that i don't feel the music as much, but it's different playing by myself or even in front of 1-4 people as opposed to a couple hundred.
steven is such a sick dude, i am stoked he interviewed john because i love the alternative side of fuse and i love the massive sensation that is john mayer. he wouldnt exactly interview the average pop star. that goes to show how sick john is.
"Call me greedy, but I like the best artists of every genre." Cool thing is before he said that, I've found Mayer and I having the same guitar influences, little did I know we thought the exact same on our musical choices. That's pretty badass.
I agree. Most of the interviewers seem to get nervous around him, && kiss up to him. This guy talks to him like JMs just a regular guy on the street. <3 him!
1: 08, Right there!! A question |`ve been wanting to ask JM for a long time!! Thank you Steven, although I really wish he COULD bring that level of guitarplaying on his new record :) But it`s cool to know why he doesn`t :)
I've been wondering the same thing lol. In fact, that was my initial reaction after listening to his new album. Personally, I believe John has an extravagant gift as a guitarist and I believe that he should apply it much more often. Its reason why I became such a fan of JM. And why I bought a fender strat :)
Yup :) But I def think he brings it when he`s playing the songs live a lot of the time! Touring John, and recording John are two very different guitarplayers.
