Meh... Vehicles rarely have physics, no ragdoll physics, the character can fly 80 miles per hour but moves slow as a brick compared to that on ground, character animations make him look like he's got an invisible 3rd leg he's trying to walk with, and not a very complex fighting system.
I was looking forward to this game, but prototype has improved GREATLY since I last saw it. It seems a hell of a lot more fun than this.

its "supposed" to have at least 20 hours of gameplay alone. without doing the 100+ side missions too. Plus the possibilty of online and DLC, not sure if there is, but its possible!
This looks really interesting. Sadly I don't have a PS3... I hope it does well though. I may own a 360, but that doesn't change the fact that 360 fanboys are annoying as hell, and a great exclusive may make them shut up for once.

Look at his running animation omg, he got like got powers, but he can only take guys out one buy one or some more if he got expolo barrels around him. No. I was going to get one because everyone said it has better games and better online. But I don't really like spending my money so I checked into it and I liked the ps3 games more and played it at my friedns and had the same gameplay online.Plus i knew it would have tons of games coming out later.
Gameplay999 I think I'm quite similar to you, the games that are coming out at the moment don't really seem to interest me that much because of... just some quality I don't like in them, not many games are like this anymore where you have a 3rd person view and the movement is really smooth and the controls are very easy to use, the most recent game I've liked (Although I hated the length and quality of quests) was Assassin's Creed, solely because of the movement and how much fun that was.

You haven't even heard most of the story, compared to prototype inFamous is hiding a LOT more, the story for example, there's a part where his girlfriend gets corrupted by some force and people are actually giving super-powers to kidnapped people (This is in a trailer) so there's a lot more to come from the story. As for prototype, most of it has already happened, you had an experiment done to you, the government is behind it and there are zombies, this experiment gave you super powers so what?
Another thing, aimed at Prototype fans ON THIS VIDEO saying its better. Why? Why make yourselves idiotic and come to an INFAMOUS VIDEO and even comment. If your serious than that is a big pile of FAIL. If its some kind of game to annoy people, thats just SAD.
Both games will have its pros and con, but Im getting inFamous for the story and gameplay seems deeper. I could understand 360 owners going for Prototype as its a multi and inFamous is PS3 exclusive. This looks really interesting. Sadly I don't have a PS3... I hope it does well though. I may own a 360, but that doesn't change the fact that 360 fanboys are annoying as hell, and a great exclusive may make them shut up for once.

brk7894, Prototype is better. There is definatly more goiing on in Prototype then this. Look at his running animation omg, he got like got powers, but he can only take guys out one buy one or some more if he got expolo barrels around him. Prototype for sure. i don't see people getting ripped in half or more of that gore, where is the blood ? where are all the pedistrians? ... these graphics look a lot better then prototype so everyone knows that gameplay go's down a lot more.(sry for bad enlish)

To me, this is the first great game to come to the PS3, a game that actually interests me.
Believe me I'm an avid gamer and I know all the big gaming titles.. LBP, MGS4, KIllzone II (Feb. 27th), Heavenly Sword, Uncharted, etc.,..
Yet they haven't really interested me the way Infamous has, I have been keeping my eye on this title for about a year now, cant wait till its released.

I do have a 360 but I don't have Halo 3, Gears 1 or 2, and the rest of all those 360's 'main' titles.
I love sandbox games, RPG's and RTS's or TBS's.
I must say Fallout 3 is amazing as well.
What type of games do you like?
And yeah, its all about preference.

No. I was going to get one because everyone said it has better games and better online. But I don't really like spending my money so I checked into it and I liked the ps3 games more and played it at my friedns and had the same gameplay online.Plus i knew it would have tons of games coming out later.

Gameplay999 I think I'm quite similar to you, the games that are coming out at the moment don't really seem to interest me that much because of... just some quality I don't like in them, not many games are like this anymore where you have a 3rd person view and the movement is really smooth and the controls are very easy to use, the most recent game I've liked (Although I hated the length and quality of quests) was Assassin's Creed, solely because of the movement and how much fun that was.

i dont get how infamous story seems deeper, prototype is a goverment conspiracy, mixed in with a mysterius disease that transforms ppl, infmous you are the cause of a explosion and theres a power vacuum, so gangs take it up, not really much of its secret, still going to get both though XD

but infamous story is good for what it tries to be, a comic superhero story
the thing is that most comic superhero stories suck, take for example batman, someone killed my parents now ill fight crime, superman, i came from space, now ill fight crime
plus everyone gets their power by either an explosion or nuclear waste (with some exceptions that involves experiments)
but i like infamous more cuz to begin with it already looks more polished

You haven't even heard most of the story, compared to prototype inFamous is hiding a LOT more, the story for example, there's a part where his girlfriend gets corrupted by some force and people are actually giving super-powers to kidnapped people (This is in a trailer) so there's a lot more to come from the story. As for prototype, most of it has already happened, you had an experiment done to you, the government is behind it and there are zombies, this experiment gave you super powers so what?

Both games will have its pros and con, but Im getting inFamous for the story and gameplay seems deeper. I could understand 360 owners going for Prototype as its a multi and inFamous is PS3 exclusive. Right now you cant say whats better as both of' em arent out. People should just leave idiot comments like "Prototype/inFamous will be better." unless they have some strong, solid proof why. Keep those noobish things to themselves.

ok i am going to end this nonsense war between infamous and prototype. YOU CANNOT COMPARE THE TWO. wanna know why? because infamous is focusing more on the choices you have between good and evil and interactivity with the social environment(kinda like fable). Prototype is focused more on revenge and doesnt give you tht choice. Your already a menace. Prototype is looking more to the destruction side(like hulk ultimate destruction). they share a few things but are looking to make fun in other ways
