The blood effects are surreal in style, quite cool looking, and the blood is of very high resolution. Dead Rising does have sweet blood effects too, the blood in DR doesn't have as much color as Gears blood; but it does splatter on the ground, characters, walls, ceilings, and whatever else it touches. I give the games ties in blood effects, but Gears is much funner!
