I will say though that he does need to practice a little bit more and I am sure through out time training with Man U he will but his position is striker, his only task is to score goals and he can surely do that very damn well. His agility and speed to maneuver himself out of the defenders marking him is incredible, He surely is one of the best strikers in the world.

he is good, but I think he still need improvements before he can become the best of the best.
he needs to practise on dribbling skills, I had watch a couple of his games and see that he ususally can not get pass defenders like Valencia or Nani, when he is up in the front alone, he rarely can dribble pass defenders, he ususally score from passes or standing in the right position.
Regardless, I think he will be a better player this coming season, I look forward to his magic.

Chicharito needs to work a lot in viewing the whole picture when they are attacking, sometimes Nani or Rooney would be running for a pass to be alone against the goalie and he wont pass it or wont see the play. I have feelings that Chitcharito will become a better player soon, not just because he is young, but the competition he has.
As we know, Man United has more strikers this season than the last, Welbeck, Diouf, Berbat, Owen, Rooney, and Chitchar. Each of them are good on their own, Chitcharito may get less chances than the last season, but he will learn more from other strikers.
wrong, dribbling skill is essential for a top class striker, there are times when a strikers need to get pass one or two def, and that is the time when dribbling come into use.
Thierry Henry, David Villa, Diego Forlan, Aguero, Pato, Berbatov, all these strikers get passes defenders when needed, and it increase the chance to score.
@timmyfung01 of all these player u named none are #9's like chicharito is but berbatov. berbatov's dribbling can b ok but his speed is a major concern. dribbling is needed on offensive players like wingers and strikers but not center strikers like chicharito, berba, mario gomes, falcao, etc. but you are right, improving his dribbling would b a definate plus.

he is good, but I think he still need improvements before he can become the best of the best.
he needs to practise on dribbling skills, I had watch a couple of his games and see that he ususally can not get pass defenders like Valencia or Nani, when he is up in the front alone, he rarely can dribble pass defenders, he ususally score from passes or standing in the right position.
Regardless, I think he will be a better player this coming season, I look forward to his magic.

@timmyfung01 thats true but just look inzaghi hes same type of a player, both arent so fast or got some dribbling but they r always on d right spot and thats make strikers great players...but he would be much better if he practise dribbling like u said but still hes good anyway even without it :D

There are moments when it would be a scoring opportunity if Chitchartito get pass the defender, but Chitchar just can not get pass defener most of the time. very frustrating to see.
beside, in Man United, the strikers and midfield often has half of the possesion, which is about 15 minutes, and Chicharito can only score once or twice in that 15 minutes, imagine if he can utilize all those time?

Chicharito needs to work a lot in viewing the whole picture when they are attacking, sometimes Nani or Rooney would be running for a pass to be alone against the goalie and he wont pass it or wont see the play. Thanks for your very accurate comment and not making childish hating comments against this young Mexican player that I support all the way.

I have feelings that Chitcharito will become a better player soon, not just because he is young, but the competition he has.
As we know, Man United has more strikers this season than the last, Welbeck, Diouf, Berbat, Owen, Rooney, and Chitchar. Each of them are good on their own, Chitcharito may get less chances than the last season, but he will learn more from other strikers.

wrong, dribbling skill is essential for a top class striker, there are times when a strikers need to get pass one or two def, and that is the time when dribbling come into use.
Thierry Henry, David Villa, Diego Forlan, Aguero, Pato, Berbatov, all these strikers get passes defenders when needed, and it increase the chance to score.

@timmyfung01 of all these player u named none are #9's like chicharito is but berbatov. berbatov's dribbling can b ok but his speed is a major concern. dribbling is needed on offensive players like wingers and strikers but not center strikers like chicharito, berba, mario gomes, falcao, etc. but you are right, improving his dribbling would b a definate plus.
