  • It's a Honda CBR600 F3 16v head and carbs on a heavily modified 1098cc Mini block. I now own this engine.

  • i think he's working with big engines like from catterpillar thats why he think it's a mini :D

  • you call that mini?????>

  • @sleadhead1g a mini cooper engine you retard!!! xD lmfao!

  • Oh, and if you plan on running your engine on the track, VVT is pointless. just stick with the big cams and keep the revs up. VVT is primarily aimed at getting economy and low speed torque out of a high output engine design

  • um actually guys, Toyotas VVTi is camshaft phasing only. VVTLi or Variable Valve Timing - Intelligent with Lift works on the cam profiles and the cam phasing.

  • umm its a road bike head guys coz the smallest DOHC honda VTEC engine honda made for a car is the B16A and that engine has a way bigger head and rocker cover. ot may b VTEC if it is a honda VFR head if not then no VTEC. and Vtec is both oil and electronicly controled if im not mistaken vtec is trigered by the rise in oil presuree but also has a vtec solinoid hence the "electronic lift control". the solinoid determins when vtec should b engaged ans when it should not b. i may b wrong butt hey lol

  • what is the head from? as in which model honda? any engine number of the honda you got th head from?

  • terrific!!!! it ruLES

  • Guys it says right in the fucken discription, 16 vavle honda head adapated to a 1100cc mini engine. Now what I'd like to know is if it's a vtec head or not, I have my doubts though since vtec is electronically controlled. Very cool though well done.

  • @thedominionx Are you sure? As I am under the impression it's controlled by oil pressure. . .

  • @Blaze0303 VTEC - Valve Timing Electronic Control

  • @thedominionx No, VTEC (Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control)

  • @madjimms Variable Valve timing is VTEC... Why are you trying to correct me with the same term? VVT (Toyota) Variable Valve Timing, VTEC (Honda) Valve Timing Electronic Control. It's all the same shit, do not correct me again.

  • @thedominionx Because you didn't indicate "variable" & "lift" those are important. They are not all the EXACT same technology, just similar. Don't act like a prick because I corrected you.....

  • @madjimms Ummm they are the exact same thing. Two different cam profiles, they engage electronically to increase output. STFU.

  • @thedominionx There are many types of variable valve timing. . . Only Honda's Vtec has a proven track record of being 100% reliable.

  • that things got bawwllllzzz

  • man you are briliant yy love it mini dohc

  • 4 cylinders?

  • i bet that has more than 100 hp :)

    awesome......just awesome :)

  • Ingenious, have heard of BMW straight 4 motorcycle heads being adapted to the A series, but not honda.

  • thats a wierd combo but sounds pretty mean.

  • Which cylinder head is it?

  • WOW how much modifications to the engine block and/or the head did you have to make for that to work? do you have any plans i could look at? how much horse power does that produce?
