  • hey man i dont have reverb a wath can i maded

  • LOL GREAT VIDEO

  • Great video Thanks!

  • Wher do i find reverb cause i dont have it :/

  • HEY BRO HOW YOU GET MORE EFFECTSS ON YOUR EFFECTS TAB???? PLS HELP

  • @FlowMafiaRecordsFMR download or purchase some vst's and drop them in your vst folder on your system. :)

  • @winchellproductions where can i find the VST folder?

  • @FlowMafiaRecordsFMR My computer/C:drive/Program files/VSTplugins. Drop them in that folder and good to go! Or when you install whatever plugin you find, make sure to guide the installer to that folder.

  • cheers - i mainly record metal stuff, but it's good to know how this part of cubase actually works! nice vid - thanks :)

  • @ashmerlin Thanks! Its great to use on guitar too you know. You can correct that one note that was not quite pulled up to the next note during a solo. There is also the Vari-Audio function which works easier for guitar parts. You double click on the audio file, and select the Vari-Audio tab on the left. Then select the note you see that doesn't jive and put it in tune by dragging it up or down. :) Cheers mate!

  • works on cubase 6 el. great...i didnt kno bout midi though thnx now i do.

  • Does it work on Cubase AI 5, cause I can't find neither the compressor or the pitch correct! :(

  • @Rebeckaamusic No, only works on full version

  • does this work with cubase 5 LE

  • @JaySkyMedia nope... only full version i beleive

  • Hey cool stuff, thanks for the video. I was wondering though, how do you set the effects to the track and hear it while talking in the mic(pre recording)?

  • @PNCGOMEZ There will be such a delay between you talking and hearing it back because of the processing... Thats the only drawback. You can do it by just making sure you click on the monitor button so you can hear yourself during recording.

  • The sound im getting out doesnt sound anything like what you've done...im not getting the pitch shift happening.

  • @PaulGrimPhilip You might have missed something. Restart cubase and try again. Sometimes we hit buttons we dont mean to. Could have been what happened.

  • tanks

  • Cubase AI 5 ?

  • Nice, I can't sing for shit! Maybe this could help, but I doubt it! lol

  • can i down load just the correction vst cause i have cubase but this didnt come with this

  • @AREayZEE nope... It is only available with the full Cubase 5. It doesnt come as a VST addon...

  • Hey! I have got Cubase LE5. Can I do this than? And what is the difference between Cubase 5 and Cubase LE5? Can I autotune or correct a voice in some kind of way with Cubase LE5? I couldn't find the answers on google, so I thought, maybe you could help ;)

  • @RonjaBaatz LE is the "light" edition with no frills... No Pitch correct... Sorry.

  • ??

  • Will it work with Cubase essential 5

  • @623STONE no

  • @winchellproductions What about on Cubase Artist 6?

  • @623STONE I have Cubase Essential 5 and Pitch Correct is in the effects. Didn't know how to use it until I watched this though, great tutorial :)

  • bout 2 get cubase 5 ;]

  • Hiie, I do all you have say to do.. but that donc run.. no cool :(

  • @WhoIsLilSoulja Look at your audio track, the volume icon thingy that's next to the recording icon should be glowing yellow.

  • hey man how do iget autotune for cubase 5?

and the other effex? for vocal?

    ineed help !!!!

    Regards

  • whats up man, i have cubase and autotune i was wondering where i can get that steinberg pitch correct from?

  • @fantauzzi84 included in cubase 5... you might have the LE edition or an older version if its not on your system...:(

  • WHATS UP MAN just got into the whole vocals thing..got cubase 5le with alesis interface just bought antares autotune and i have a mxl 990 mic. Wanting do make some vids record some music and make some music hope u can help if i have some questions i would appreciate it!! I will get back with you on some questions later just seeing ur response time on msgs lol :)

  • i don't have a compressor or pitch correct, do you have to buy these for cubase al 5?

  • @ResultMusicCD yeah u have to buy the studio version but u can buy anteras efx auto tune version for 49.99 then u have to buy the ilok for it so with both its around 80-90 bucks YOU HAVE TO GET THE ILOK FOR IT TO WORK!!!!! DON'T FORGET THAT!!!! :)

  • i find the thing but when i start singing it aint work.

  • @OwnStylaa11 Your voice is just too bad for this..... :D

  • is it possible to do this in Cubase SX3

  • @TheNessTV nope...

  • @winchellproductions Hey man, helpful tutorial. I was wondering, I don't seem to have Reverb A/B options and a lot of others. I'm using Cubase5, any ideas?

  • Good info very well delivered. Thanks!

  • do you know where to find the denoiser?

  • Hey, I have an idea:

We all Autotune our voices and become stars!

Oh Justin Bieber already took that idea?

    Damnit.

  • it worked :DD Thanks man.

  • hmmmz. i have cubase le5 but i don't have all those things in inserts. alot of effects but not what u have... but that doesn't matter... i just wanted to know if there was a way to correct my vocal recordings with a bit of pitchcorrection/autotune... i make punkrock music ..or poppunk....all time low style... and just wanted a bit of those things just to make it sounds a little bit better... i hate the rapper autotune stuff.. but well, can i buy something,a plug-in for cubase...? :)
  • @heerserjordi95 there should be a pitch correction VST for free, google it. I think its called "GSNAP" And just use it sparingly. There should be a setting for slight correction. :) Rock my friend!!!

  • @winchellproductions

thnx my friend, i will search it :), for free awesome!

but is it like a plug-in so when i have download it i can find it in cubase by inserts....

but okay, thnx your awesome :).

i really like to mix and produce music for other friends and i learn alot from cubase..its so good and so easy but you learn new things everyday.

:)..just wanted to say that, dont know why xd

  • @heerserjordi95 Thats exactly how I started about 4 years ago! LOL keep it up and it may take off. You would be surprised how many people will request your skills once you know what your doing:)

  • @winchellproductions

damn, i can download the GSNAP thing..but its a rar. file... i used to download those files with winrar..but my trial of 40 days are gone...is there a full free version of winrar or other programs that can open rar files in my windows :)

  • @heerserjordi95 Look up 7ZIP, its free and unrars stuff. Enjoy! Make sure to read the manual for gsnap. Or watch a few vids on youtube! LOL

  • You're a genius!

  • Personally I can't stand autotune

  • hey is it possible to do this in Cubase AI 5?

  • Is there any way to do this in Cubase AI5. Where could I find the 'Pitch Correct' effect? thx. great vid

  • Is there any way to do this in Cubase AI5. Where could I find the 'Pitch Correct' effect? thx. great vid

  • could u please show how can use autotune live in cubase? i mean when am going to record audio i wanna hear it. thx

  • @NarcisPraha You cant... Well, you can but there is a real big delay between talking in the mic and hearing it... It will mess you up.

  • @winchellproductions If you have a strong computer (lots of ram and a strong cpu)

you can use "asio for all" for low latency workflow!

  • i dont get the same effect as ur getting ? any suggestion ?

  • @tushar223 Try again maybe? Not sure where the disconnect is. LOL

  • Comment removed

  • @winchellproductions have u made any settings regarded to that ?

  • @tushar223 Settings? No, I just opened up the plugins raw with no presets and dialed them in as shown in the video. Thats it...

  • @tushar223 f**K man i dnt get the same voice u got ... nd ur voice is great :D

  • hey i have a question about real time auto tunes. i cant get it real time in my cubase with out a HUGE echo

  • @TonyFknGoodtime Yup... No way around it. The time it takes to process leads to a delay in hearing it. Sux...

  • how do i get more plug ins, ive got less then half the amount you do,,,? haha

  • hey man, how can you hear sound (effect) while not recording? because when I talk into the mic the autotune effect doesn't happen until i press the record button. And nothing is coming out of my speaker

  • shits and giggles! aha

  • Question? I did everything that you said and it working but not in real time. When I am singing, I do not hear the t-pain effect but when I playback what I have recorded, I can hear it. Is there anyway to hear the tpain effect when I am singing?

  • Comment removed

  • Pritty cool example man! keep on making more of thoes vids!

  • Nicccee it's that easy

  • Comment removed

  • on the device at the bottom[F2]There is a click button on the right.TURN IT OFFto stop the clicking.anyways....GOOD TUT!

  • Actually, forget my previous question, I solved that. How do I get my keyboard hooked up to the autotune feature so that the notes I hit on my keyboard become the output of my voice?

  • @dropbows90 I show how in the video, rewind and watch me carfully.

  • I appreciate the tutorial! However, I'm having trouble with mine... I set all the specifications to what you had on the pitch correct application, but yours sound so much more auto-tuned. with mine, i can hear my normal voice in the mix with the auto tune. Also, when you plain talk into it, you can hear the autotune kicking in. When i do plain talking, it just sounds like me talking.

I'm using a usb interface (a Line6 toneport) to hook my mic up to the computer, i don't know if that affects it

  • Cheers for this! Very helpful.

  • Very helpful for someone like me who can't be bothered to RTFM - many thanks! :D

  • hey,i dont really need the t-pain style pitch correct, what im looking for is a more like natural, minor correction effect. can this pitch correct do that for me?

  • @Masharbashboi Yup, just mess with the settings and you can give it a more natural sound. :-)

  • @Masharbashboi Or you make real music?

  • @fetmabebis if you mean recording a pop punk band "real music" then yes its real music.

  • @Masharbashboi As long as you don't use computers to adjust your ability to sing, yeah, it's real music.

  • Learned a lot in one night! Thanks!!

  • thaaaaaaaaaaanks!

  • :OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MW2 on your dock :D

  • Hi sorry to bother you that I have a problem with regard to nuendo 4 as you will know when we want to import audio from file, import_Audio, have the option to search in any directory in windows audio we want to import it all very well but there is I can not hear audio before importing and also is in Auto esque play but do not hear anything, maybe you know might be going, well sorry for the inconvenience that a greeting.

  • thanks man...from germany....

  • Thanks for your help I have been of great value ... chao.

  • Hi, there is a moment in your video tutorial that you take a revert because I now use Cubase 5 and I want that I Rebert pluins installed in, but there is no way that I go, I do not appear in the pluin before I used cubase sx 3 and if I went out the rbert, you can tell me how I do it so that I can use it in cubase 5, thanks.

  • @fjbo2005 its on the install dvd, explore the dvd, its on there, just copy them over to your VST folder and good to go!

  • Thanks for the tutorial! The only problem is I've never been able to find out how to make SFX active in real-time like you just did; I can only hear the effect when applied to an already recorded piece of audio. I want to be able to hear it as I speak in real-time

  • @Rich7714 You can monitor it real time, but there is a wicked delay due to the processing it needs...

  • @Rich7714 You can monitor it real time, but there is a wicked delay due to the processing it needs... There is a small speaker icon in the track window. its right next to the Record button on the track your vocal correcting. :-)

  • @winchellproductions Thanks for the reply! I turn on Monitor, and I do seem to get things like compression working, as I can hear it getting louder, like with you, but I still can't hear the pitch-correct in real-time like you do at 2:20 - 2:25. I probably just need to tinker around a bit more and I'll get it!

  • @Rich7714 yes I have the same problem, tell us if you know what the problem is

  • thnks:)

  • hey, props for this video... showed me how to do what i wanted to know how to do without any bullshit but without being lame. thanks

  • Is there a way to export these files with these effects in place (preferably tuned to a midi track) as an mp3 or wav file?

  • @WscorpioD Go up to file, and choose export. Thats it!

  • very helpful thanx!!!

  • Hello, I have Cubase 4 LE, and I haven't really installed any external software, so I was wondering how I access the pitch-correction option?

  • does pitchcorrection come with cubase 5? because mine isn't showing up.

  • @11uber Correct, Cubase 5, not cubase 5 LE or cubase essentials 5 or cubase studio 5... Only cubase 5

  • @winchellproductions no wait, I've got Cubase Essentials 5, and this plugin is totally in there. Thanks for the tutorial, this was exactly what I was looking for!

  • @winchellproductions Actually I have Cubase 5 Essential and it is with this package.

  • this tip it's awesome. Thanx.

  • i started using this technique a week ago, works like a charme.

  • Hey, man, I've tried this tutorial and it's really awesome.

I have one problem, when I use Cubase 5, I always have an echo around, could you please tell me how to take it off?

  • @bluegnome12 If its while you use the mic try using headphones. The speakers will feedack and delay... If your headphones are on and external speakers are not playing sound than it may be something else... Best of luck!

    Winchell

  • thankx for sharing the videos, it helps a lot :) i work with Nuendo 5.1.0 but in a Reverb section i cant find Reverb A n B can u maybe help what i did wrong ?

  • @Bougatof Reverb A and B are in a separate folder from the install. Its a legacy plug-in (older) and we included in older versions of cubase. It was in a folder on the cubase 5 install disc..

  • So i know that with the little speaker, but ist delayed, not really live ??

  • @KrixPrix Yeah, it will delay a little... Its the processing that takes a few milliseconds. Unless you got a super fast computer its gonna be real annoying...

  • @winchellproductions

I own a super fast hexa core :) But i think its the sound card. You don't have this problem, have you? What sound card do you own?

I'm sorry for my bad english, I'm frpm germany :)

  • @KrixPrix Mine does it too... It has do with the fact that it does so much in a short amouont of time... I dont think there is a way around it. it sux! If you ever figure out a way to use it real time let me know! I've only seen the external vocal processor do it in real time... Could try reducing the latency on your card maybe? Go down from 6ms to 3ms or change buffer from 512mb to 256mb Might glitch and pop tho... Best of luck mate!

  • @winchellproductions I'm going to buy an usb audio interface for my new Rode NT1A Mic. Will I be able to her me in realtime? with the effects added in cubase?

How should I connect and plug the components together? Or is there a soundcard which is able to do that in realtime? It would be awesome :D

Keep on doing, I subscribed :)

  • How do you do, that you instantly hear what your talking in your mic?

  • thanks!

  • thank you for this video! i got one minor problem that i keep running into when i try both of these tips. I keep hearing the volume of my regular voice over the "effected voice" i think it might be because of how my studio is set up. or do you think its a setting in cubase that i need to adjust. thanks again!

  • @knumberd you probably have another track in the mix with the monitor button on...

  • What kind of Reverb are you using ? Is it a special VST Plugin ? Because it looks way easier and better for a starter like me

  • @inker92deluxe "reverb a" It came with cubase 5 but you have to find it on the install disc and drag it over to your VST folder. It doesnt install it by default. Its a legacy VST. (older) But like you said, simple!

  • ok so i started using cubase 5 only just recently. i understand there's a function that if a singer is out of key you can correct that audio part just like a midi

  • @TheAcholi yup, double click the audio recording wave. Then there is a "Vari-audio" tab on the left. Click the arrow to the right of the vari-audio tab. It should then show you the notes. It might say something like "do you want to do this?" or something but your good. And then you can select each note and move it.

  • hey nice vid .. i will like to know .. how you get record your screen and your audio at the same time in cubase 5 with camtasia studio 7.. i cant get it to work and i got a m-audio fast track pro interface..thanks

  • @hollifiel18 audio out from headphone amp into line in on PC soundcard.

  • can you use the effects life so the effect will be used while you are talking

  • @lossor yup, you might just have a slight delay from when you talk till you hear it...

    Peace

  • Thank you for this. I've been tying to figure this out for months!

  • ur great man

  • thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!! in capitals..........

  • I can't figure out how to get my mic to display in the pitch correction plug-in, like when you talk and it makes the little waves and auto-tunes you in real time. any ideas?

I run my mic through a Line 6 Tone Port and the Gearbox application into Cubase

  • @RisingMetalDemon in the track there is a little tiny speaker icon you need to press its called the "Monitor" button. Its right next to the record enable button on the track

  • hey just another sickening question,What am i looking for in a usb audio interface?I need a mic input aswell if i get my krk monitors.Would you kindly check the place where im getting it from and tell me what one you would pick.Just google( NZ rockshop) and it should take you to it then click on digital ,Audio interfaces if you do't want to look thats ok i just thought i'd ask incase im buying the wrong one. Also you will notice onlya few are compattible with cubase the rest are m-audio chhers

  • cool video i like it

  • That M-Audio Axiom 61 II Keyboard MIDI Controller looks great for a midi controller.I only managed to check your other videos on your you tube page ,I did't know you had tutorials and mostly everything ive asked you've mentioned in them i guess i should of checked before commenting you.Does the drum pads on that midi controller work like that 20SYL - Beat Making Video you have on your page?except it has the keys aswell Please correct me if i'm wrong thanks

  • @craydiss YOu got it! Those pads trigger the samples just like in the vid! Keys do the same as the pads. Pads just feel better. :-) Peace!

  • Ok cubase 5 sounds great to use my preference of vocals are rapping and singing so im sure it'll be great.I would buy online but im from nz and i have a certain card i can buy things off it and don't have to pay anything back for 3months interest free else I would man. Thanks for all your help and i hope you do well with whatever your trying to do with your music!,I also need to get a midi keyboard controller aswell and i have no idea what to look for.

  • @craydiss no worries mate! I did do a couple videos on a couple controllers check my other vids out. Axiom 61 and oxygen 25. Both are great and affordable. But the big dog is the akia MPK 49... That thing is sweet! Best of luck to you in yours as well! Peace!

  • far your the man for replying back.yeah i was gonna go protools untill i senn your video.I only want something to get good vocal recording out of and nothong beyong my lead example protools hd i think im gonna go with cubase because it seems like something id try and if i don't like it i can take your tips and try another. Is cubase anygood on the vocal side of things because the beat side is fine what im doing cheers

  • @craydiss Cubase is awesome for vocals! To be honest though, it all depends on what your putting into it. If you use a good preamp and good converters (Audio interface) then you will get a great sound. Cubase is just the program that collects the data and allows you to edit the performance in some ways. Pitch, time, and of course you can apply all sorts of effects and processing to each vocal take. If you buy it online you should buy through my link in the discription, It helps me out! :-)

  • Thanks again for the reply and info I'll be sure to keep your tips in mind as I was already planning to get some krk rocket powered monitors and a new pc with a good processor and 4GB ram that can modify to 8GB max as well.Have you ever used pro tools? I'm getting confused with all these videos on you tube saying"Logics the best" or "Pro tools is better.like you said I'd rather find out now what is good then wasting my money cheers.

  • @craydiss to be honest, its all a matter of what your lookinig to do. Pro tools is great but rather expensize to get into. (pro tools HD is the best but costs a butt load to get set up) Logic is good actually! But only runs on a mac... I suggest you try a few of them first before you jump on one. Cubase 5 has a demo version you can try for a while and most other DAWS do the same. I like cubase 5 because it has all the features I need and doesnt require a hardware unit like pro tools does. Peace!

  • @craydiss I have used pro tools, but only the LE edition which comes with a audio interface. In my opinion it was ok. Pro tools LE or M-powered doesnt even compair to Pro tools HD. The Le or M-powered version has a few limitations compaired to the HD... But the HD version isnt cheap to setup... Cubase 5 I think offers a bunch of stuff for the money!!!

  • hey man thanks for the reply ok so your using presonus fp10 firewire interface.Would you be able to let me know if theres anything else i would need to run good audio with cubase because i rely want to know what im getting if im going to be switching to a whole new programme thanks.By the way what kind of ram would i need eg higher than two or 4gb ram if im going to purchase my 2nd pc this would be to my advantage if i was provided this info.

  • @craydiss you'll need some good monitors. And yeah, the more ram the better. I run 4GB's and its been fine for me! just make sure you get the fastest processor you can afford. Speed of the memory and speed of processor are key! And get a silent rig (Noiseless PC or MAC), less fan noise bleeds into the mics... I wish I knew that before I built my rig... I've been trying to go as cheap as possible until I know for sure what I need. Good luck and keep it up!

  • Hey man good video,Do you have any usb audio interface while your doing that if so what do you use cause im thinking about getting cubase 5 thanks cheers

  • @craydiss I am using the Presonus FP10 firewire interface.

  • cheers 4 this one, i had no idea how this works until now! :-)

  • Thank you from Bangkok man... This really help!!... I'm gonna try making a track out of this and post u a response

  • @zbloxfif Do it!!! I wanna hear it! :-)

  • hai man meney meney thanks for vedio by tclraghu from india

  • @MsTclraghu Your welcome! :-) Thanks for watching!

  • when i go to select the midi output for the midi track, it dosent show the pitch correct. it only shows: Not conected, (the name of my first track) , and Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth. How can I get it to show that please?

  • @bben95 As long as the pitch correct is an Insert in the audio track, it should show up! try from the beginning again...

  • @winchellproductions thanks for the help i got it working. and great video. i just had to say it again.

  • excellent video thanks so much. when I do this and open the pitch correct, it dosent show my voice moving. Help me please? How do I get it to show my voice?

  • @bben95 Is the channel monitor button on? its the little tiny speaker icon on the vocal track next to the round record button.
