A wonderful song! One of many that Don has written. Not sure of the meaning of this song but to me it always makes me think of my dad when he was in a nursing home with dementia.
First thing by the MBs I ever heard, and it sure made an impact on me. Reminiscent somehow of the Who's The Kids Are Alright, but nonetheless its own song, very definitely. The album (Salty) is nearly all superb, particularly the first half-dozen tracks, which culminate with this one.

I have no idea why the Mutton Birds were never bigger in Canada.... music of this calibre is hard to come by.
