Every teen show up to and including OC had music, comedy and tragedy and everything both beautiful and ugly in between. That will all end this year with One Tree Hill.
No new show will ever come close to touching this golden age, I pity future generations.
O.C. was is and will ever be the best drama show ever...i watch everything vampire diaries, gossip girl and so on but there is no show that catched me like this!!!
1) Even though I think Keane is an annoying band to watch perform, this is a great scene. I remember after seeing this scene, I was officially locked in and ready for Season 4.
2) Um yeah, @genericusername337, Julie was a bitch. She came within seconds of murdering Caleb via poising his drink, so yeah.
3) I blame "The Nana" for all of this. If she doesn't hastily get engaged to that con artist, Ryan never goes to Miami, no rape, no shooting, no expulsion, no Johnny, no Volchok. Bam.
You guys, Mischa (the girl that plays Marissa) is the one to blame about Marissa´s death. She asked to go out, and sayd that it would be better to kill Marissa because there was no way she would come back. Worst mistake, of course, she didnt do anything really after the OC. She pretty much killed her career along with Marissa
i'll always be thankful to josh schwartz cause he made the best show ever. it seriously changed my life. i cannot imagine it without the oc!!! bring it back!!! and if it's not too much to ask, bring it back with marissa in it

Maybe for one or two episodes, sure, because of the shock factor... but they had to know that in the long run, no one wants to watch the O.C. without Marissa. Killing one of the core four and destroying the main love story on the show - how is that going to help the show AT ALL? o.0 Not only the ratings, but Josh Schwartz made sure that there was no way the show could have a happy ending.

hi this serie with or without marissa was very good, and please dont say when marissa died the serie die too. You forget the serie was about a guy whos doesn´t have nothing to live, and then he goes to another world , with a very good and happy family ( cohens ) and he have such a good friends. I miss the OC so much - I think it definitely set a precedent for having AMAZING music so prominently featured on a show! I LOVE Keane, and this is my favorite song by them - it makes me want to cry when it's put in the context of what's happening with everyone in this scene.

i love gossip girl but it's nowhere near as good as the oc. it was realistic, there wasn't a new drama every week, and the drama there was had a proper storyline like real life. and it was just everything a tv series should be :')

@jab070 Yeah the OC is way better than Gossip Girl. To give the ORIGINAL 90210 credit, though, that show went on for 10 seasons and became a 1990's pop-icon. Still prefer the OC over it, though, of course.

didn't care for season four much. same with season three. the series finale and this episode made me buy the dvd for $5 though on ebay cause I liked them.
I miss the O.C so much... I would always watch it.. I couldn't miss an episode. I think a lot of music was discovered from that show also. I have heard people call this show cheesy... I mean every show is gonna have dramatic stuff in it but they did a good job with making it feel real. The music choices also fit so well with the scenes too!
I will always remember this song and the end scene as the first time I ever cried while watching tv. I don't know, I think it was just the song, it was just so me at the time. Ah I could just cry again! That's okay though I love it! Haha :]

@jab070 I think Gossip Girl is awesome and some of the humor from Chuck is really good. But The OC is my favourite show of all time. And no uother show will ever beat it's humour it was awesome

@jab070 chuck is my favorite character for sure. I thought 3rd season was actually pretty good, especially the second half. Season finale was the best episode ever it was insane!

didn't care for season four much. same with season three. the series finale and this episode made me buy the dvd for $5 though on ebay cause I liked them.

I miss the O.C so much... I would always watch it.. I couldn't miss an episode. I think a lot of music was discovered from that show also. I have heard people call this show cheesy... I mean every show is gonna have dramatic stuff in it but they did a good job with making it feel real. The music choices also fit so well with the scenes too!

I will always remember this song and the end scene as the first time I ever cried while watching tv. I don't know, I think it was just the song, it was just so me at the time. Ah I could just cry again! That's okay though I love it! Haha :]
