@BluePi1313 Unfortunately no - we've ordered our psychotic murderous robot but it seems it may have been lost in transit (damned Australia Post!!). Our portal research funding is woefully inadequate and so we are yet to unintentionally open a wormhole to an alien planet. Finally, due to the issues listed thus far, the military don't yet see the need to intervene.

We're working on these issues though ; )

You know, I watch alot of minecraft videos, and I hate 90% of them. Immaturity and attention whoring abound. This though, this is different. Your videos are more entertaining to watch than educational, but you make no attempt to pretend otherwise.

Alright, Static can you please test soulsand? It is only 15/16ths of a block so I do not know if it is possible for spawning to be done on it. Also since it slows down mobs it doesn't seem probable mobs can spawn. Thanks!

@DanielLyness It's funny actually, the pads are exactly 24 blocks below the surface, so there is about 20 or so blocks before bedrock. Doesn't look like it's that high eh? =p

These pads aren't at slime level, no. But I'm working on a separate area of the facility for testing slimes ; )

@777static777 :O oh i might have made a mistake about the redstone dust it might not have been you but etho who tested it and found they could that's why you need to have light or half slabs in your wiring. its good to know your taking slimes into consideration though. :P

@slizedk The problem is that the viewing area has to be lined with half-slabs to stop mobs from spawning in there, and half-slabs allow light to pass through. Also, I like to be able to see in. Finally, once I get the facility fully operational, the whole place will be completely dark =)
