  • Does anyone know where I can get a hold of the acoustic version of trust with Teppei singing?

  • This is great, this is the version I heard first when I found out about Thrice! Good memories; I now own all of their albums ;D

  • unbelievable!

  • aghh one of the best songs from one of the best bands x)

  • Dustin couldn't have a more perfect voice

  • is this song in standard tuning or drop c???

  • almost 100% sure its Dropped c

  • cool man thnx!

  • its standard

  • wrong, the whole illusion of safety cd is in standard. they didn't drop the tuning till artist and the blah blah blah

  • Identity Crisis album is in standard. Illusion Of Safety album is tuned a half step down. The Artist In The Ambulance album is tuned 2 half steps (1 whole step) down.

  • First Impressions is standard.

    Identity Crisis is standard.

The Illusion of Safety is mainly Drop Db, with the exception of one or two songs, being Eb.

The Artist in the Ambulance is Drop C, but apparently The Abolition of Man is some weird tuning.

Vheissu I think is Drop C.

Fire is Drop A and Drop B (I think).

The rest of The Alchemy Index I'm unsure of, but probably songs like Broken Lungs and The Sky is Falling are is standard.

Songs off Earth probably vary in tuning.

  • Your basically right, with a few changes. That is that Vheissu is about half and half between Drop C and standard D. Fire is in B standard, drop A and 'backdraft' is in D standard. There is almost no guitar in water, except for 'night diving' which is drop A. Wind and earth are a mixture of D-standard and E-standard. 'Broken Lungs', 'Sky is Falling' and 'Come All You Weary' are both in D-standard. The rest are in standard or have no guitar.

  • Red Sky however is Drop C PLUS a quarter step up. Not lying. I tries playing it in Drop C but it never sounded right till I learned you have to go half way in between that and a half step up. So weird but it works :)

  • couldn't agree more!

  • i think i like this song acoustic even more than the album version

  • YES THANK YOU!
