Altissimo sounds cleaner on the M'Lady. Has less brightness also. Have you tried alternating the necks?!?!?

@Sirvalorsax Yes, we have at least three different variation in bore dimensions for the necks. When the horn is purchased at the shop, players have an opportunity to choose from 30+ necks. I feel there is no right or wrong, I think it is all about what an individual is trying to achieve in sound and response. I will try to be available to answer specific questions at Tenor Madness about all the options on this horn including neck, pads, resonators, pad heights and spring tension.319-234-3561

the tonal quality of the laquer M'Lady with the silver neck is a dead ringer for the Selmer IV, even the full silver sax sounds a little "tighter" than the silver/lacquer combo. Just IMHO

How do these horns compare to the Saxgourmet Model 6 and/or Super 400 tenors, considering they are two of the smaller label Far Eastern horns being offered at the 3K+ price point? Do they have similar origins to the Saxgourmets?
