i think it was so cute that she handed the rubber band to you on the last braid, my little one is a toddler, so it's a gamble to get her to sit still for 5 braids or twist without a wrestling match

I did this hairstyle but still didn't turn out as well as yours. Im mixed though and my daughter got her dads really thick coarse hard to grow hair so im learning. I refuse to perm her hair so Ive been watching videos on here.

thanks so much for this video. I am going to do it in my 2 year olds hair (if she sits still long enough). the only thing is my 2 year olds hair is like curly soft and whenever i try to make a slick back look it curls right back up. Her hair rebels how can i get it to have the slick look

in order to use the co-wash method you have to follow guidelines. like you can't use products with silicones. silicones won't come out without shampoo. so if you only use all natural products on your hair then the cleansing agents in conditioner are enough to "wash" the hair. if you are spritzing, moussing or gelling your hair with that protein gel stuff than you have to wash wash your hair. also make sure you are not using a protein conditioner for best results.

a co-wash is when you just wet your hair , apply conditioner, and then rinse. Its basically "washing" without the shampoo
